Thanks LT, friend from work is a nice girl (quite a bit younger than me) but very thoughtful and considerate.

I really hope DIY friend does pay what she owes, not fair otherwise.

Hoping that everything goes well tonight Unix...love your balanced meal! :rotfl:

I went out briefly and came home with eggs for everyone (Th*rnt*n$)...naughty, but we are staying at home all weekend and we deserve a bit of a treat. ;)

Heading off to watch a DVD tonight, shattered as been sewing all week. Finally got things done and delivered to friends, who love them, so that's good. (See pippi's thread for a link.)

Try and relax over the weekend...do you have a four-day holiday? Hope you do xxx

I'm on 3 day weeks at the moment Keiss otherwise wouldn't have had long weekend. My 'balanced' lunch was good. One of the girl's posted a pic of her easter egg (we all got given one) on fb so we all (whole team) sent messages to her saying she must have total willpower to not eat hers and have raw carrots instead!

DIY friend came over, her hair is done and yes she did pay me back (yay!) as did OH so will have a look at the bank stuff tomorrow and pay a little to either tax or beast. :o

    Morning All, how is everyone?

Had battle of the livingroom with SS this morning, told him politely 'I'm working down here today' ..... got a huff but at least no back chat. He has a tv in his room and our livingroom joins onto our dining room so I wouldn't get peace if he was watching tv down here. He also has a habit of turning the tv up too loud (OH sleeping after a night shift) and wouldn't be told. So I think this is victory for me.

Have first load of washing on and hoping it stays dry. OH has given me his bank card and said to treat us to a pasty and a cake for lunch (he's trying to cheer me up).

Another £5.03 paid to tax (will update totals shortly).

I have 'Land of the Lost Wolves' on in the background. They are in the US and are slowly returning to land they used to occupy nearly 100 years ago. The locals are talking about shooting them!!! Why? They are not doing any harm to farm animals/pets, why can't people leave nature alone? We can co-exist, its if we don't that we'll wipe out our natural resources. I have always loved wolves, I think thats why i love huskies so much as their faces are very wolf like.

Thanks Keiss, I ventured down the street to the bakery for some lunch (OH's treat). Its pouring down here so can't hang washing out so its over the radiators (noticed the one in the hall is peeling so that can be a job for next week). Done some job applications. OH got a text from one of my friends but I didn't. I think she's looking for a hand with her film stuff, she asked before and its on a date we can't do as I'm having a leaving do but she's still asking..... except she's not asking me this time (she asked stuff like this before when she knew I was working all weekend yet still called and asked what I was upto).

Was going to have a browse in the charity shop whilst down the street but being good friday it's shut (I forgot!).

    Totals updated.

I have easter eggs hampers to put together, one for OH, one for SS and one for SD's lot (You might ask why I'm bothering, we never get a thank you or anything but I'd rather be the bigger person rather than mirroring her behaviour and being a complete *****).

We weren't going to do easter eggs, but I wandered into Th0rnt0ns yesterday, and a few fell into my bag! :o

Mmmm, I can understand about being the bigger person: me and my family have had nothing from my sister in 28.5 years, yet I have never missed giving bday and Xmas presents to her and her family....sucks though. :( Seeing her in 2 weeks ...wonder if she'll talk to me this time :o

Glad you had a good lunch, DS1 has turned up with GF, so need to make some burgers with no breadcrumbs (she avoids wheat)....sitting here peeling onions atm...sniff!!!

    Have a good easter xxx
