Whyte & Co debt recovery
Comments

I too have just recieved a letter from Whyte & Co advising me to 'take formal notice' that recovery action (whatever that may be) will be instigated if I do not pay £82 within 5 days of the date of the letter (which incidentally was 8 days ago...) Thank heavens I stumbled across this forum - I shall ignore and wait for further threats!
I can understand why people pay these 'debts', the wording of the letters is pretty scary - despite the fact they spelled the vehicle details wrong and I have no idea what the squiggle is in front of the '82' that I allegedly owe them.... I will have a swift drink, man up and bin the letter0 -
Just ignore them, there is no debt. These jokers have never done court nor can they as you owe them nothing.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

Typical thoughts that newbies have in error, about these fake PCNs:
They think it's a real parking fine = WRONG.
They think because the DVLA release the registered keeper's data that the PPC must have some sort of authority = WRONG.
They think that because major retailers like Supermarkets use these firms that it 'can't be a scam' = WRONG.
They think that a debt collector can/will call round = WRONG.
They believe the empty threats in the 'debt collector' letters = WRONG.
They think that it may affect their credit rating = WRONG.
Just play snap with the letters, it's EASY. I am an ordinary wife and Mum with a responsible job and clean credit record and I have ignored 2 fake PCNs. I would very happily collect more and laughed when I got both of mine.
You seem to have landed from Google onto a very random old thread from July - we have HUNDREDS of more recent ones about the fake PCN scam carried out by hundreds of firms. You need to read the forum more. See my signature. Click once on the end of the blue breadcrumb trail >link>chain at the top of this page, on the words my signature mentions.
Look at the current forum and read the sticky thread second-from-top 'PPC letter chains'.
Watch the Watchdog clip linked on there and read the other links at the top. Check out the letter-chain pics so you both know what to expect = MORE LETTERS!
It's only junk mail, nothing more. No more bothersome than deleting a series of phishing emails, honestly.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've got an Asda carpark ticket where they've actually written the time the ticket was issued as 10:00hrs - which is when the 2 hours ran out !
We've sent back a "you aren't getting the driver details out of us letter", just got their second threatening letter. Am going to write back and ask that all future correspondence is sent to my work address - which is a police stationHardened spendthrift learning the phrase "every penny really does count"

Rather than just binning their waste paper letters why not all of us send them back, "return to sender." Would they then have to pay to recieve them? Would they want to? Be an awful lot of mail going back to them and also they then would have a lot to put in their waste bins. Bit of recycling eh? Just an idea. Am bit miffed though as I have yet to recieve any PCN's despite parking in Aldi of Norwich and never bothering to put my vehicle registration number into that machine in store operated by Parking Eye.Got a ticket from ParkingEye? If the letter is franked, then simply pop it into a post box and the firm will be charged again for delivering it to you again [iirc they are even penalised for not using the correct 'franked mail' post box].

Hi
My boyfriend has received a letter from Whyte & Co in relation to a supposed parking offence (parking on a footpath). The letter states:A warrant of execution has been issued against you by the Traffic Enforcement Centre at Northampton County Court for non-payment of a road traffic debt.
We demand payment in 7 days otherwise we will call at your premises to execute the warrant by removal of your goods for sale at public auction.Letter is dated 23/08/13 but it's the first letter we've received from them. A PCN notice was not received or attached to the vehicle and no chase up letters from the relevant council have been received.
I have written back to Whyte & Co and the council saying this is the first we know about this supposed issue, explained that no PCN was received and asked them to produce evidence. The letter from Whyte & Co also has the make and colour of the vehicle wrong - it's completely different (I didn't give them the heads up on the correct details!).
Just a bit concerned that because it states a warrant has been executed then they will still turn up. My boyfriend now lives overseas and so does the vehicle.
I've seen other posts about how bad Whyte & Co are but our letter seems like a final notice straight off! Advice please?
Thanks
