Whyte & Co debt recovery
Comments
-
Hi Guys,
I have recently recieved a new letter from Whyte and Co. Titled -
WARNING OF FURTHER RECOVERY ACTION
It states because i have not responded to letters so far they are now passing my papers to Debt Recovery officers. (sounds bit scary)
The letter is now giving me 5 days to contact them before further action is taken against me. (def scary)
'Such action may involve legal recovery proceedings, without further warning to collect the amount outstanding' (very scary)
Guys is this ok to keep ignoring? Is this what content i should be expecting at this stage or has this got serious?
I'm hoping this is one to keep ignoring - fingers crossed.
Please advise!
Kindest Regards

"Debt Recovery officer" = fancy sounding name for a loser who works as a drone for Whyte and Co. He is a private citizen with no more power than you or Me to demand money off people. Just keep ignoring these clowns. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Thank you for the response, will they send someone round?0

"Debt recovery officers" Which is what?? Someone with as much power as the paper lad! They wont send anyone but if they did tell them to do one!
"The letter is now giving me 5 days to contact them before further action is taken against me" Usual empty threats what action can they take? Give you a clue none!
"Such action may involve legal recovery proceedings, without further warning to collect the amount outstanding" There is no outstanding debt, these letters are templates for substantiated debts, but they hope they can scare you with them!
Carry on ignoring them!0 -

There is a 99.999% chance that they won't. If they do then tell the person to "get lost" (you can use your own words) or you will call the police. As I said before they are just private citizens. They cannot seize property. they cannot enter your premises and they cannot blacken your credit record over a private parking "ticket". So just ignore and stop taking these clowns seriously. They are not worth the effort. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

Why the need to panic about a letter that's already in the top thread of pictures? Did you miss the top sticky thread or summat?
Here's your letter, a rubbishy computerised template that's not even colourful, not as pretty as some we see:

The 'sticky' threads at the top of the sub-forum, including a Watchdog clip, are there for newbies' information - please do read them. The Whytes letters are under Town & City and you have a preview of the next one:

HTH now please relax about this scam - do you get this twitchy every time you get a Nigerian phishing email? And PPCs do not and cannot 'send the boys round' - no-one can just send a bailiff to a property without a Court Order.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi guys,
Whytes have replied to my letter which kindly informed them of address change and my intentions of basically not paying. The reply stated that the dispute will have to be with TCP but until TCP send confirmation telling them not to collect the amount they will still pursue.
Has anyone encountered this situation before? Is this also just part of the process and can anyone send me some advice pleeease? Do i still ignore?
I dont know what to do!
Kind Regards0 -
You don't know what to do? In spite of all the clear advice already?
It's a scam and nothing has changed.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just ignore, if there was any substance in the toothless threats you would be facing legal action. It is all part of the pathetic scam.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0
