We all do different Bexster. Some people do SW or WW so get weighed in at their classes. I just do my own on a Sunday morning. But it's great just having somewhere to come and feel good if you've lost something, or come and confess if it's been a bad week! Seeing it written down does help0

Hello people,
So I have bought a new pair of Bench shorts from eBay... and I can't fit my fat bum in them :O not very MSE but a brilliant way of kickstarting this diet that just has to happen!!
I weigh in at 195lb:eek:
and have to be 145lb by Xmas... just for my sanity!!
So 50lbs to shift!
Could I join in please?!
Thanks a million!!Life is too short not to love what you do.0 -

My feeling boney is horrid, when I sleep I tend to lie on my side, so my knees are together, and it is those that feel boney, so I cannot sleep, I have tried a small cushion between my knees, (OH things that is funny, and had been offering me something else!!
) but it doesn't really help.
Like you say I'll just have to get use to it, as I am NOT gonig back to the way I was.!
bexster thanks for the well done xx

Hi all,
I am back after going awol for a few weeks. Sadly my Father passed away after a two year battle with cancer.
So I have fallen off the wagon a bit, not surprisingly. But hard as it may be to get on with life, I know Dad would have wanted us to. He was a workaholic or as much as he could be when he was ill and always stayed positive. His 'cup was always half full, not half empty' and I believe he would want us to get on with normality sooner rather than later, no matter how hard it is.
It would be his birthday today, so I think it appropriate that this is the time to start taking little steps back to my usual routine. I am not promising huge weight loss, I struggled with that previously, so I'm not expecting miracles, but not to put huge amounts on would be pleasing, as I am one of those people who could over indulge on the snacks and not even register what I had done, when times are bad.
The Dragon, Could you please add me to the name list again please, I haven't had chance to keep up with everyone's progress, but hope to get back on track from today. Hopefully the coming month will be better than the last, it is my son's first birthday soon, and I am due to return to work after my maternity leave in 3 weeks time, so that will be a shock to the system, but something I will probably enjoy once I have got settled back in.
I am going to supermarket now to get in some supplies, as we seem to have been just living on ready meals and tat recently, that was when I wasn't stuffing my face with chocolate. Will also try and catch up on the thread.
Oh goodness, just scrolled back and saw this. I am so sorry for your loss
, please have a virtual hug and don't forget to be kind to yourself. My dad passed away a few years ago and I still think about him every day, sometimes with sadness, sometimes with happiness - for example, if I see a film that he loved or hear a favourite song of his. Someone said to me recently 'The burden doesn't get any lighter, but your shoulders get stronger', which is so true!
I don't know what else to say except that I understand how you feel right now, and you are not alone xoxoxoxoGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
