OOOH This looks good - can I join in please? 11st 7lb this morning!
Used to do SW but lapsed that and it's sooooo expensive to join - so if I can be with you all encouraging people it will make it a bit easier!
Got a holiday last 2 weeks in June :j so don't think I'll do that well in total - but if I could at least make a start...... - but if I could at least make a start......
Did 3/4 hours worth of dance on wii (enough to make me sweat!) so that's a start - now need to concentrate on what goes into my mouth!

What I've done to keep myself motivated is a little spreadsheet which I put my weight into each week and some basic measurements (although I've lost my tape, so thats been suspended for a bit) and it gives me figures such as total loss, weekly loss, (Metric and Imperial) BMI etc and even gives me a progress graph.
Might work for someone else? I made it when I left WW Online as I still wanted to keep track of how I was doing....
I can knock a version up for anyone who thinks it might be useful for them? Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male::cool:0 Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male::cool:0

Tara~~ thanks for the welcome, the nurse put the 'fear' of god' into me, over what could happen if I didn't loose weight!. ie a good kick up the back side!
Catflea~~ get a piece of string to act as a measure for now, and mark it each time with a black marker pen or similar, then when you find your measure you can see how you have got on.
I too have a piece of paper with 5 coloums (Date, target weight, actual weight, total lost, and what is left to go) my target is 3lbs per week, some weeks I have done more, some weeks less.
I wish I had found you all sooner, but this site is so vast.... but I am here now. Just had an add up for May I lost a total of 10lbs!!Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

I'm back in for this month.
The doctor says my ideal weight is 67KG / 147lbs.
My Starting weight for this month is 71.25KG / 157lbs.
So if I can lose the 7lbs this month. I'll be delighted. Although it will be a moral victory for me to break the 70KG barrier.
To anyone new this month, stick with it, this forum has really helped me keep on track, at my heaviest I tipped the scales at 83KG /183 lbs, but since coming on here, i've been more motivated to keep on dropping that weight.Current Debt: 0%.Current House Deposit: 7%.0

            Hi
I posted in the other thread briefly. I have lots to lose but so far have managed 11lb in five weeks, which averages out at 2.2lb a week. It has been tough though as I only lost 1lb last week and the week before that, then a good 3lb today. I nearly lost heart, but am so glad I have persevered. I am following a calorie controlled, healthy eating plan (lots of grilled chicken, tuna, salad and vegetables) and am taking an hours exercise a day (walking the dog).0

I've lost a pound since I started, not brilliant but at least now I've cut out the trips to the vending machine I was doing (at 600ish calories a visit with chocolate and crisps!). So hoping now I've cut out the junk the weight will come off more quickly.
What does anyone think of cutting down (not cutting out) on carbs and replacing these with more fruit and veg?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
