Hi everyone - joined Weight Watchers tonight - my starting weight is 10 stone 11 so with a goal weight of 9 stone 7 , that's 18 pounds to lose. They have a new points system now so I'll have to read up on it - sounds good though. I paid for a monthly pass cos it works out cheaper and I thought it would make me go if I've paid in advance - anything to help me get to goal! If anyone else is doing Weight Watchers - I'd love to hear from you with your advice. Bye for now.

    Hi

My name is Kaz, I am a Type 2 diabetic as of the end of Jan 2011, been told by dr's / nurse to loose at least 5 stone, so far loads gone, just under 2 stone to go, I have a target of 3 lbs per week. (signature updated every Monday)

I have blood tests every 3 months to keep me in order!! BMI is at the bottom end of overweight, was obese.

My weigh in day is every Monday morning, plus loads of walking each week.

    So please count me in.

    *copied from May thread*

WI today - 139.2lbs (9st 13.2lbs)!!! That's 6.6lbs off since the start of May, almost half a stone OMG!!!!!!! A first for me - I've never lost that much in one month before. I am soooo chuffed.
Finally going in the right direction!

I have fallen off the low carb wagon since last week but am still eating smaller portions, and am trying to walk and cycle more, will keep up the good work as I have a wedding to attend in a few weeks.

I have GOT to get running again - that's June's target.

Dragon - can you put my starting weight down on the first page? Thanks xo

jungle jane - LOL! :rotfl: That should be my mantra as well!
