Am intrigued at what else I *would* do with a bicycle KC!
I always used to take it to work, til it got cold and snowy, then I got a couple of flat tyres in quick succession and it got abandonedIt's not actually far, so will probably be less exercise than walking (although I don't always walk all the stages). about 2.5 miles downhill to station in the morning, then about 2.5 each way at the other end of the train, so about 7.5 in total (I'd usually walk about 5 of them). Will still get the bus back from town at the end - it'd take about 3 times as long to walk as it's all uphill!
Anyway, just got back from slimming world - lost 1.5lbs so pleased with that (although still not made it to the elusive half stone award :rotfl: :rotfl:)
VERY excited about chickens, and peedie (and you of course Pippi!) :j :j :j We'll be at a festival first, so goodness knows what state we'll be in when we arrive :rotfl: (although got a night with another friend first so will have a wash there, I promise!)

Yay to 1.51bs loss. Is this the fold up bikes and are you taking them on holiday too? Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Yep this is the fold up bikes, and yep we're planning to take them on holiday too! :T :T :T Very exciting. Was thinking today about a little island hopping maybe while we're there - I've done that a little bit before (when I've been in the summer) but Mr Daffs hasn't - we've always stayed in the wrong town for ferries, and we've never had a car there before (and it's bee the middle of winter! :rotfl:)0

Cycled to work this morning - although got as far as town, wondered why I'd had to get off and walk (round the giant scary roundabout) whern I don't usually - and realised I'd gone the wrong way :rotfl: :rotfl: (followed the ring road as I'd drive it, not the back roads that I'd usually cycle!) :rotfl: That'll teach me to have several months off! :rotfl:
Still, gorgeous cycle along the river at this end :T :T Absolutely lovely, and I got here before 9, all ready and raring to go
I've got 3 days before my holidays :j :j :j (friday is Mr Daffs' birthday, so I'm taking that off too) - plenty to do, need to be organised, want to leave everything relatively up to date for both projects - eek!
Tasks for today are to get lots of things done, eat well (I've brought ALL food with me so shouldn't need to buy anything), and stay nicely calm0 -
Well done on the weight loss and the cycle :T
