:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::kisses3: Enjoy the holiday! And Mr Daffs' birthday!
I think its brilliant the way you work out how long stuff will take, and even plan late in the evenings ... I know it doesn't always work, like the baby blanket didn't get started, but you do a fantastic amount :j:j:j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Birthdays holidays planning and organisation, all good things!!
Have a fantabulous time and I hope the weather improves. xTrying to shift that debt!0 -
Happy Birthday Mr Daffs!
Karma is right, your planning is brilliant
Hope you have a lovely holiday whatever you end up doing with your extra couple of days! :TDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Thanks
Didn't have much choice on the planning last night, too much to do! :rotfl: :rotfl: Going to be a similar one tonight I feel
Today has been lovely - although not the pottering getting ready for holiday day Mr Daffs anticipated - more just pottering :rotfl: :rotfl: He's off out in an hour (and is currently having a nap), so this evening I shall be doing the holiday prep... :eek:
All very jolly! So.... how's about we have a little plan like last nights?!
6-7
* washing up
* tidy kitchen
* finish list of stuff to pack
* get Mr Daffs to help get sand and speakers out of car :rotfl:
* eat
* make list for picnic
7-7.30
* get all unnecessary stuff out of car
* make bed in car
* ring people re changed plans...
7.30-8
* put water on for bath
* assemble my stuff and joint stuff in kitchen
8-8.30
* sort out various crafty projects to take
* put anything in car that can be left there overnight
* make sure map is in car
8.30-9
* make picnic
* make sure no smelly things left in house (bins, apple cores, dead flowers, dying plants...:rotfl:)
9-9.30
* kept free for potential last minute nipping to shops/ squeezing more things in :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
9.30-10.30
* nice bath
Will that do, do you think?! If there's spare time :rotfl: I will attempt the baby blanket - if not, then I'll be cutting up the bits and taking them with me! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Right, best get going, I've lost 15 minutes from the first hour already making that list! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Happy birthday, Mr Daffs. I think it is a big '0' one? You posted his age once and I noted he is the same age as my #1DD.
I loved "get Mr Daffs to help get sand and speakers out of car" Sounds just like our car. Many years ago and several cars ago, Mr T collected some rape seed to photograph. Bad idea. The boot was damp, seeds escaped and grew in the boot!
I hope the evening goes as planned and enjoy your holiday.But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
Happy Birthday Mr D! Gosh Cheery you do *so* much, I barely do that much in a week! Must switch TV OFF!Weight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0

Don't speak too soon VL, I havenn't even got started on the 7pm list yet :eek: :rotfl: Mr Daffs had toothache so did a little light nursing (well, made a cuppa) and then sat reading ironman race reports from friend and some other folk :rotfl: :rotfl:
Note to self: you cannot swim a width of the local school swimming pool, it takes you nearly 40 minutes to run 3 miles, you will not be signing up for an ironman.. you cannot swim a width of the local school swimming pool, it takes you nearly 40 minutes to run 3 miles, you will not be signing up for an ironman... :rotfl: :rotfl ::rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

Well, maybe not this year. Happy holidays, give Pippi a heartfelt hug from me pleaseSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Right, plan, as Pippi has just discovered, has gone somewhat awry... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
But I can cross off one or two things! :T :T
