Are you in immediate pre-holiday flapping excitement mode? That'll be why you aren't getting everything done in your usual efficient manner!Weight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0

Quite possibly VL! :rotfl: :rotfl: Had to keep stopping and doing a bit of hula hooping to get me out of 'aarrgghh!' mode
Also managed to stupidly drink all the milk!  So HAD to go out, then stupidly left it so late that the local shop was shut, so had to go to the 24 hour garage, and there were a queue of young folk buying alcohol, so landed up going to 24 hour tesco - pah! Still, got picnic while I was there - will save me a job in the morning
Did i make it?! No idea - forgot to look at the list after a while :rotfl: :rotfl:

Not too bad I don't think! :T :T Bath is run, just got to hop in it - I've got about 1 minute before Mr Daffs gets home :rotfl: :rotfl: so it'll be a quick bath rather than the leisurely one I imagined :rotfl: :rotfl:
And there's still a couple of mini things on the list to do tomorrow morning, but at least I'll have help then!
And, of course, I still have no idea whether we're going tomorrow or not - depends on the state of Mr Daffs' tooth - my prediction is that he won't want to decide tonight, then at 9am will say he wants a lie in, I'll dash around going to the WI, sorting library books, getting everything in the car, and then around 10.30 he'll get up and suggest we should go on Sunday, but won't want to see the emergency dentist, regardless of if his tooth hurts.
Let's see shall we?Anything is fine really - but that's the eventuality I'm preparing for!

Cheery, thats an amazing read! I love it - that steady updating of the list, rather than going back to the same post and crossing it off, thank you!
Hope Mr Daffs tooth is better than yesterday, and that you both have fun, no matter what you do2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I'm sure we will KC
The actual setting off on holiday and the journey is always a little fraught around hereAnd I woke up in the night remembering two things:
(1) the remains of yesterday's breakfast in bed (including a bowl of sliced bananas) is still at the end of the bed.... And since the bed is on its own little mezzanine floor there is thus no need to ever walk round it, and it's very easy to forget things you put down there.... must remember
(2) I had a little minis stash of presents to take to Pippi - where on earth are they?!
Still, kettle's on, I've remembered the bananas now - they're still there, but removing them is on the listAnd if I can't find Pippi's presents, then I sthall stick them i hte post
(and I've just burnt me toast - oops!)0 -
And breathe............... your holiday has officially started so enjoy all of it, that includes WI, Library, getting ready, Mr Daffs "lets go tomorrow" because you can you know, time is of no consequence when on holiday. (unless of course you have a set time ferry to catch - mind we missed ours at Christmas and just paid a little extra to get the next one). Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0
