Thanks cheri
I think it's FW with the 'I'm so worth it' fund - but it should be me too!
I will propose that when he gets back laterThank you for making me see I'm not being entirely unreasonable!
I'm going to abandon the To Do list for an hour and go out for a walk insteadAnd I might stop off at a cafe for a cuppa on the way home too with a book
(and maybe even a piece of cake
)
(back to slimming world tomorrow, but I've eaten really really well this week, have had little sweet things every day but not gone over what I'm meant to have, and eaten LOTS of fruit and veg etc, so there's space in there for a piece of cake I reckon! :T :T)0 -
Always space for a cake Cheery and if you are walking to the cafe and back then you will burn off the calories I expect. You go and enjoy yourself. Cheery pics for the blog too maybe?Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Thanks Cheri
Had a lovely piece of sponge cake, wrote in my diary for a bit, drank some chamomile tea, and bought some grapesBack home again now, and I feel worn out
Going to suggest going straight for ringing someone I think - we've both got better things to be doing right now than building walls!0 -
:T to a cheery afternoon. Hope that the writing in the diary helped. You are so right, living life is so much more important than getting bogged down with jobs that can be farmed out. Also another angle for Mr Daffs is to say that you are supporting your local small businesses by paying somebody. After all how many people would sing and play at their own wedding when Mr Daffs is so much more qualified and by paying him to do it people actually enjoy themselves!Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Morning Cheery - sounds like a good weekend. Good plan to get the wall sorted asap I think!
Oh.. I wonder if you were helping to set up the festival I accidentally ended up at on Saturday? Went for a little bike ride and ended up there chatting to the LETS people and renewable energy people - was really good!

I very much suspect it was Squizz! :T :T I'd left by then though
intended to go back, but, well, er, I didn't...
Are you joining then???
Had a reasonably productive day at work today (at home, of course), and I even managed to do my 20 mins of pilates before I started! :eek: :T I'm aiming for 5 mins a day in current room of doom (to borrow phrase from cherisong - currently the attic!). I just *can't* do it all in one go, but I can manage 5 mins, and flylady tells me if I do 5 mins a day for a month I'll get there - right now I'm choosing to believe her
Just been to Slimming World and lost 2lbs :T :T So a total of 3.5lbs in a fortnight :T :T Hooray! Very pleased with myself, I've eaten well this week (even if I did have 4 pieces of cake on Sunday :rotfl:) Same again this week I say (possibly minus all the cake on one day... :rotfl:)
So plan for the rest of the evening?
* make pasta - eat some and pack rest for lunch tomorrow (along with rest of food for work)
* 15 mins clearing out the paperwork cupboard in the kitchen (this has been going on for days, but not far off now!) :T
* reply to wedding invitations
* sort out a fathers day card for the weekend (think I've got one upstairs)
* try on swimming costume and decide if I'm going to swimming lesson tonight :eek: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

I hope the fact that your light off means that you have steeled yourself and are currently swimming Daffs!

Hi Cheery and everyone
Just wanted to ask a thyroid related question if thats ok? Have dragged myself into work today and back home again - one of those walking through treacle days - coupled with poor concentrationAnywho's i've spent the day berating myself for not going for my run today - was worried i'd head out and really not be able to keep going - or get back :eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Do you still exercise on these days Cheery? Not so much asking for permission to go easy on myself but wondering if i should be pushing myself more? :cool:
Your weekend sounds lush - festival, cake & some home organisingOh yes, about the garden and feeling you should do everything yourself - i definitely fall into that same basket!
