hey cheery just caught up, I hope you're feeling better and not so grumpy and that you're enjoying your day off. I totally agree with getting someone else to do the garden, it just gets you down otherwise. Well I'm busy not revising for my exams next week!! Really need to pull my finger out!

Get that finger pulled out missy! :T :T

    So, I've had a GORGEOUS day :T :T :T

Had a lovely haircut this morning, ambled into town to buy these, changed my mind and decided on these - and ended up with these instead :D Entirely frivolous (I NEVER buy anything that isn't from a charity shop ), but reduced to £25, TURQUOISE, and SO comfy :D Don't think I'll be winning any style competitions :p but still - TURQUOISE SHOES :D

Then went to concert in the cathedral done by these guys (one of whom is Mr Daffs :D) - very cheery.

Then tea at a cafe, round to a friend's, adn now back home and more tea :T :T :T

And now it's raining - at least I won't need to water the garden today! :T
  • Hi cheery et al, am back caught up and don't wanna work full time either! Watching and butting in from time to time. Kathryn x

They are extremely cute! :rotfl: But I would have had a REALLY tough time deciding... they are all so pretty! Anyway, 1/2 price too, a rather MSE splurge I think! :A

And back to an earlier post... squash is yummy, that is why you are growing it! It just may be the only thing that gets any light this year.... :rotfl: Still better than me though, we have 1 basil plant on the windowsill! (we DID have a nasturstium {spelling??} growing out of the drain cover, but Mr Lotti "tidied it up" when the landlord was coming round to see to the adrift radiator :rotfl:). Seems silly to do more though since wer'e moving this summer!

Well, I've had a lovely day (and avoided eating *toooo* much cake - although I'm off to a waffles-and-scones party in a minute...) :D

Not hugely MSE - had to buy tea at £1 a cup (*think* I had 3...) plus a baked potato for lunch... Should have taken a picnic!

Still - tonight will be free :D

Still not done the darn 18 month plan :o Have had a couple of revelations though :D
  • Revelations? Hope not too biblical... unless its striking people down selling tea at a pound a cup!
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Ace shoes :) looking forward to the 18 month plan
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
    :money:Sleeves up folks.:money:

Not hugely striking revelations Skint! :rotfl: More along the lines of the 'not trying to grow an entire family's worth of veg in the garden' type of revelation :D

REALLY going to do that plan today though :T Spent last night at a cheery party eating scones and cakes and it was great fun :T

Just making second cup of tea in bed (Well, making it in the kitchen, but will take it back to bed :rotfl: Idle one today I think! :T
