    Day 5 Tuesday
    Breakfast -yoghurt with a banana
Lunch -fresh veg soup with rice cake snack
Tea grilled chicken with a tomato type sauce with salad, coleslaw and a few chips (ate out as cinema night)

Went to cinema and did not have two scoop ice-cream but bought some Bombay snack packet which had rice cakes, fruit and nuts in. Was nice and also didn't have the whole packet.

Exercise - walked to work, walked to doctor, not a lot but about 2 miles at least

I phoned Weight Watchers and they are sending me the vouchers to use and I also have to take the referral form from the dietician. I start on Tuesday but probably not next Tuesday as out over bank holiday, taken a few extra days off to spend some time with my lovely tolerant man!

They said the lady who runs it will give me a call before I start and I have to say as nervous as I am, which I definitely am, I feel reassured by what the lady who answered my call said.

I guess they are all hour weekly sessions and the time I opted for is perfect, straight after work.
Also as mentioned on here earlier their point system sounds clever.

I have another blood check, health check appointment next week but this is with a doctor and nurse.
My blood check yesterday wasn't bad, well it wasn't great but no worse if you see what I mean.

I went to work this morning but after having a painful ear from my cold a lovely work colleague brought me home at lunch and I have just woken up. Not eaten much today, hardly anything so I need to go find something now to have with my paracetemol!

Another thing you'll find - if you're ill, for whatever cause, the extra stress on your body can send your blood glucose levels all over the place.

    Day 6 Thursday

A mixed meals day as had a team meeting and exhibtion visit event arranged by work from 7:30am to 5pm so all food was as organised on it as was run by the company I work for.

Breakfast - Bacon roll with asmall bit of brown sauce
Lunch was pork in rolls but didn't eat any of the bread. Instead put on a (paper) plate with salad and a small amount of coleslaw (which was too vinegary tasting so didn't eat it).
Snack - Strawberry french set yoghurt (resisted the chocolate mousse)
Snack small pack of crisps but didn't eat all, was feeling dizzy rushing around shops after leaving work late to get some stuff and manage to lock my credit card arghhh so only had 50p. New pin being sent...
Tea - chicken quiche with stir fried vegetables.

Exercise - walked around a plant exhibition for work (not flowery ones, I work for a railway maintenance depot) so must have clocked up a few miles. Got soaked but did a lot of walking. Then walked into town when got back to where I am based.

You might also want to look at the Harcombe Diet. It's basically a low carb diet but is nowhere near as strict as others such as Atkins.

My doctor suspects I have PCOS and with that insulin resistance. She recomended Atkins but after looking into things I've started the Harcombe Diet.

    Morning SC

    Hope you are doing ok.

Monday weigh in -3 lbs for this week, so well pleased with that, it is all in the right direction. (signature updated!)

Plenty of HM veg soups preportioned in the freezer for this weeks lunches, I have found as they are so thick, adding a little water, stirringin, and heating seems to be the best thing.

No trips planned to the dr's this week.

    Good luck Sc.

Hi KAZ, You are doing great, well done!

I've still got this cold and am still deaf in one ear, like being underwater all the time. Thats why not been online updating recently.
I've got a few pm's to reply to but really feeling a bit rubbish so will look at them later.

I go to my first weight watchers not tomorrow but the following tuesday. Also am hoping a friend is coming too but she is waiting for her vouchers.
