pathetic!!!!!!!!!
Why are so many people in the UK conditioned to ridicule others who by their own effort manage to turn the tide a bit for the better and secure advantage? I don't understand it any better than I understood how my nephew, who was good at Maths but deliberately dumbed down his performance in class so he he could be seen as 'normal' by his peers, found himself in that environment. The people responsible for promoting such an environment are the pathetic ones....
A bit like saying look at him...always first to answer the difficult questions, but we all got Grade A GCSE anyway!! Roll on the International Baccalaureate exams!0 -

You've secured no advantage and turned no tide.0 -

I am sure Argos are fed up with me. Attention-seeking? Yes, attention to what Argos have done, not attention for me. I fully intended it after their courtesy call (sic) ended last Wednesday. Read the headline. It is imprinted on your brain, like it or not. You saw it here. You clicked on it. It is amazing what people have remembered from the first thread. It means they read it all.
So, quite unlike the many other people who got similarly let down, I might actually be one person who really has made Argos regret stuffing me!
It's just a games console, you say. You sound like the eBay Seller who lied several times to me and said my £10 purchase was in the post - when challenged to come clean about why she'd suddenly acquired several negative feedbacks all from complainants like mine finally said "well so what - it's none of your business - why are you making a fuss about ten measly quid?"
Edit: (Prompted by Aluminium's observations) ... To make it clear that I do not think FloFlo is a liar or a cheat like the eBay Seller I was describing, but merely that her final sentiments on the matter were dangerously similar.
Not at all, you started off as an individual trying to procure 1 console for yourself and then tried to change it to a consumer champion fighting the mighty argos. Argos are not going to steal from you they are either going to be late delivering or worst case refund and tell you to get lost.
Anyway must go now my 3 new games were delivered today to with the Wii I picked up Friday. :T0 -
peterbaker wrote:Well Aluminium, you seem to suffer mood swings which are quite difficult to follow ... but if you are just different then that's ok:-)
Caps Lock doesn't equate to anger, I used it for emphasis. You are mental though.
EDIT: FloFlo, did you get Zelda? Don't play that first, you won't want to stop, the other games won't get a look in!0 -
Just noticing what the original thread started about. A friend of mine had the same issue with an XBox 360, paid for and preorder with Argos, and the store didn't get any in.One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -

every time one of these new consoles is launched its the same problem then about 2 months later they're bout £30 quid cheaper and you can buy them no prob! anyway why did he but one in the UK he lives in another country? and argos have prob broken the data protection laws by speaking to him bout it in the first place..'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0
