Olympic tickets

I logged in just before 6am yesterday and managed to add in the basket two of the athletic events we wanted. Then, we wanted to add one of the Canoe Sprint cheap tickets that they were available on the second chance tickets list, but they "surprisingly" disappeared at 6:01am. We then wanted to try to get another event, but thought we might lose time so just moved forward to the payment page at 6:03am, where we got stuck. After refreshing the page numerous times and receiving the same message that we all experienced, we finally managed to submit the application at 6:21am, rather late, after 18 minutes of waiting. I am wondering if the time of submitting the application counts? Still haven't heard anything as per now, but we so have hopes that we got our 2 tickets for at least one of the 2 sessions of athletics we applied for. Any lucky one yet? Good luck everyone, hope the frustration of this terrible system tickets allocation will go away at least if we get to watch one event.

I've seen on twitter from a BBC sports reporter that no one is getting an email today and we should get an email tomorrow.

Sadly after entering my card details at 6.03 it didn't go through for about another 15 minutes.:(

Lets hope it's before 0630am then, as they said they would let us know within 48 hours!

I'm a night shift tonight, so I'll be keeping an eye on my email. I'll post in here when/if I hear anything.

Ours went through at 6:23. The BBC guy on Twitter replied to someone who applied for athletics at 6:20 saying it was touch and go whether they'd have tickets so I'm not hopeful.

Hate to break it to you, but there are no tickets for just women...you'll have to watch the blokes too :rotfl:
