Well its been more than 48 hours and suprise suprise, no email. They cant even get sending an email on time right!Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No, me neither. The site says I successfully submitted an application but I never received the confirmation email that everyone else seemed to get so worried now I haven't got any of the tickets I applied for!
Come on LOCOG, this has been a farce so far, give us SOME good news!

I take it all back, just got my confirmation that I got the tickets I wanted. Pleased as punch but probably not a shock as I appear to be the only one that WANTED to see the football

I just had my email (subject: Olympic Games ticket application update) a few minutes ago and it says I have been allocated the tickets I applied for, subject to successful payment.
At least I think this is what it's saying! I'm usually good at comprehending things but for some reason, none of the communications from LOCOG ever make sense to me :rotfl:0 -
Hubbie just got his email and got all he'd applied for Hockey prelims, Handball bronze medal match and beach volleyball. This is despite getting the unsuccessful message and never being able to get anything in the basket after the first "failed" attempt at 6:04 (which obviously was successful) so don't give up hope peeps you may have got lucky and I hope you did.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Got my cofirmation email as well for one of the men's football matches at Wembley stadium.
Really delighted especially as I didn't submit my application until after 0635hrs on Friday.:j:j:j
I am not going to thank LOCOG though as I think the whole ticketing process has been a complete farce as was summed up by Martin Lewis on Friday.0
