The most frustrating bit it that it still doesn't guarentee tickets, only that your application has been received.

I had firefox and IE open and IE came through for me if that helps anyone.

I got to the Verified By Visa screen after many attempts, then it messed up
It now shows my application in my account but I'm worried that the payment might fail when they try to take it (as they seem unable to tell you at the time, one reason why some tickets weren't sold last time)
Have tried their telephone helpline, says they're busy and doesn't give the option to hold....

All in all, completely useless.

If they'd initially given us the option of bidding for open sessions, e.g. Athletics, any session up to a specified max ticket price, it would have been a lot better
They should have been able to sell all the tickets first time round if they'd had a sensible and robust ticketing system.

Payment processing atm taken 15mins and need to go to work at 710am. What a pain

LizB62 - I had exactly the same as you. Got to the verified by visa page, entered password, hit enter, then after waiting a while got the "Sorry your request blah blah blah message".

Have also got application now showing as submitted - fingers crossed!!!!

Does anyone know if the option to resell anything you don't want (ha ha) will be available to those of us lucky enough to get tickets in this second chance window?

Confirmation email came at 6.23 am. As other people have said, I was logged on and putting application process through at 6.00 am. Screen froze during payment process. Couldn't get in to my account so didn't know if had gone through. When finally got back in, tickets were still in my basket and managed to make payment.

Checked site 8 minutes after email confirmation received and 2 of 3 sessions were still available at price I requested so I will be very annoyed if I don't get those tickets. Really want the athletics but were no tickets available at any price when I checked them so don't know if I'll get those.

Anyone else doubt that we'll actually get the email confirming which tickets we have received within 24-48 hours?

After initially saying I wasn't going to bother I was up at 5:30 to try and get some athletics. Took 20 mins to get through but we think we've got it. Interested to see people reporting that they can't now apply for some sessions. Hope they didn't go whilst we were being processed!!

System hung for hubbie at 6:04 on processing and then chucked him out. Just logged out of his account and back in and now says that application was submitted. Only got that far once but tried constantly for an hour afterwards. Will wait and see if the email comes through.

Anyone found anything left? Only availability seems to be volleyball. Not that desperate.

Perhaps we'll go for the MSE option, rent out our house and watch it from a TV in the carribbean!!!
