Please help barclays took all money out my account

The difference between what any customer has to do for their customers, and what they actually do, is what makes the difference between a good company and a bad company as far as the customer is concerned. And without customers there would be no company.0 -
Because you have said over and over again that they are just following legislation. Well they weren't just following legislation, they were using their interpretation of the legislation, which makes it extremely difficult and stressful for customers. I think the conclusion of the issue for the OP has proved that they could have carried out the investigation far quicker, and made the process far less painfull.
Legislation means that if you don't do what that legislation asks, then you are breaking the law. If that legislation states that funds paid into a bank account which may be suspected of being part of a Money Laundering scheme should be frozen (which it does) then thats what Barclays have done. If that legislation also states that you should not discuss what you have done with that money with the person who has paid that money in, (which it does) then thats also what Barclays have done.
Can't see any problem with their interpretation of the legislation at all. Yes, it is distressing for the person whose money has been frozen but i feel in this instance (and NO i'm not defending Barclays) it has been handled pretty quickly. I have handled Money Laundering cases which have taken far longer.0 -

They being the Banks generally? They can all take whatever time they need up to a point. In certain cases it will be out of their hands. This is not Bank specific.

At the end of the day, why does the bank have to withdraw all the money? Can't they conduct an investigation without 'skinting' the person..? I just think it's so unfair how the OP has been treated by his bank.Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I'm not perfect and don't live to be. i have spoken to somebody who specialises in money laundering and he has told me that if i was suspected of money laundering the police would have been at my house which never happened .
I know places where they would have to have a serious (Security services) level of tech to avoid being 'noticed' and that would start with mobile phone signal jamming technology, alarm/CCTV blocking facilities and hard disk de-encryption software - and anyway, the housekeeper would probably notice!
You average man in the street's property might be rather "easier".0 -
I agree, and I think the OP threatening suicide is a low move. The more that people do such things without meaning it, the less the banks will be willing to help those with genuine mental health problems.

In this sort of thing and in other matters in life, it's every man/woman for themselves. You make what threats you are able to in the circumstances to "incentivise" your target to have an "attitude re-adjustment".
As I have said many times before if you act meek and mellow you will be walked over and squashed. In this case it appears the OP probably managed to jump the queue in the investigation - at the expense of those who sat back and did nothing.0 -
HOW CAN ANYONE DEFEND BARCLAYS ?! This bank barclays are a shambles i was told only after i rang them remember they never rang me once , that the investigations were going to take at least another three days maybe more i said i was desperate to pay bill feed family etc they were just not interested . i rang them back within five minutes telling them i was suicidal then immediately the money was put back into my account , SO WHAT HAPPENED ABOUT THE THREE DAYS INVESTIGATIONS THAT NEEDED DOING? I TELL YOU WHAT IT IS THERE WERE NO MORE INVESTIGATIONS TO BE DONE !! JUST PROVES THEY WERE LYING AND JUSST DID NO WANT TO RETURN MY MONEY AND DID NOT GIVE A SH*T ABOUT ME AND MY FAMILIES WELFARE .0
