Please help barclays took all money out my account

Hi im please could you help me , on thursday between 4pm and 5pm i checked my barclays bank account and was expecting to see a balance of over 7k but the balance was zero .. i phoned barclays and they said it had gone to MANCHESTER PREMIUM ADVERT RECONCILE i have nefer heard of this company and have not authorised any payments to them ., £7193.66 has gone to this place and my account balance is now zero. I phoned them and asked them what it was they told me it was a barclys contact centre in manchester i asked them why they have taken all my money they said they could not answetr and that they have put in a complaint and i have to wait five days for a reply, im fuming i have a basic account with them dont have an overdraught facility cheque book or credit card just have debit card , will i get my money back im so concerned as they cant explain where its gone and why but just said its barclays that have taken it , i have ner owed barclays any money and have hadf this account for 15 years please help .

    It's normal for a large sum to be verified for fraud protection before it's paid through an account. Why not speak to Barclays again and ask them for a temporary overdraft facility whist the deposit is being processed. I'm sure it's quite normal and nothing to get agitated about.

    no, i have not authorised any payments to anyone the balance of my account was £7193.66 , but its barclays who haven taken this money out without my permission or even told me thery just said one of their offices have taken it but they wont tell me why and that i will have to wait five days for a reply i have spoken to them three times and been into branch but giving me same answer .

    Yes I'm quite serious. I had the same issue with Barclays when I made a large deposit into my current account. It was sorted within 2 working days.

    I can't offer any advice, but i would feel the same as you do.I am sure someone will be along soon, who hopefully can advise you.I sincerely hope you get this sorted quickly.

    dont think you understand i have not authorised any payments to MANCHESTER PREMIER ADVERT RECONCIOLE never heard of them but barclays say that its a barclays contact centre in manchester they are saying that barclays have taken this money but i dont know why they have taken it all they keep saying is that the will put a complaint into the department and i have to wait five daysi was fuming on the ophone asking why have barclays taken all my money and put my account to zero i have a family to feed and things to buy they just say nothing they can so abouit it !!

    If the OP was expecting a large payment this would be one thing to perhaps expect a delay over. What Barclays have done is taken every single penny from allpine99's account.

    This is what is wrong and why allpine99 is understandably so distraught. I am of course presuming there was some money left in the account before a large payment went in!

    whyhave they taken it though they just emptied my account without telling me i have had no money since thursday having to borrow to buy food , its not there money its just money in my account i use to pay bills food etc , cant believe they have done this its my money not theirs they did not even warn me or anything i want it back they just say they are sdorry nothing they can do but lodge a complaint and i will hear in five working days .
