He's just trying to wind me up Beanie. I suggested I stayed in the kitchen and we'd see how soon it was before the house is repossessed and we were both out on the street.
I know how to shut him up!

Hi Sue,
not got anything to add, just wanted to give you a virtual hug. You're doing so well, you need to give yourself a pat on the back every now and again, and remember all that you have achieved. Hugs again.0 -
Just my thoughts. I hope it helps. It may be simplistic, it may be corny. But you know what, it may also be true.
1) Today is the first day of the rest of your life. All you need to do is make tomorrow better than today by a teansie ickle bit and then the next day and so on. In the end you will be happy. You have already started this process even if it doesn't always seem like it.
2) Reducing debts is good. Speak to lenders, many will right off what you have outstanding or give you 0% at a small amount / week if not. Most thngs in life that appear essential are NOT which include: Mobile, Telephone, Car, TV licence, Sky, Internet. REMEMBER that you can use internet free in a local library and that TV licence have to prove you are using one. They can get a warrant for entry to your property BUT if you are in and refuse them admitance they CANNOT come in (It is not a forced entry warrant, they can only come in through unlocked doors). House insurance is not needed either if you're renting.
3) I suggest eBay under 99p starting price for everything. It will be free then and you'll make more than a car boot. Easier too IMHO.
4) Food bills can always be cheaper. In the short term you CAN live on beans and bread with vitamins and minerals supplemented, ask any student
5) Do things that are free to pass the time. Walks in parks, see the sunshine, feel the breeze on your face and smile. Allow yourself 1 hour a day to look through bills, make plans and WRITE them down. Put bills in order of priority and just deal with things one at a time. Then GET OUT and relax, try and make your brain understand what is important in life... your health and your happiness (both are free and BOTH can never be fixed with money) - Consider the rich man with cancer or the Somali man being chased by people with big big knives... you may smile and think how nice your life is, even if just for a second.
PM me if you want to chat. And take care. Life is full of ups and downs. Your frame of mind can make a huge difference on how you view the turmoil.

Hi Sue, sending you a virtual hug.
There are a lot of people on here who have given you some good advice, as well as their thoughts.
How are you doing this week? Is there any light at the end of your tunnel?
I really hope so

Hi sue just want to send you massive huggs. Your situation reminds me why I keep a secret bank account from my husband he is not abusive or anything like that but at the end of the day nothing is in stone and I have two children to look after ,So I pop money in every month and any I get for birthdays , Christmas etc. I do feel guilty keeping it from him but my children are my life.0
