Hello Sue... I'm supposed to be getting some sleep soon but I thought I'd pop in and say hi, and keep you company for a bit.
I would ask you over to help with my bedroom - it's in dire need of a clear out - but Dh is asleep and I think he might object if a couple of women started turfing stuff out around him!
    When's the next car boot?

are u sure your hubby would obect to two women in his bedroom ;-)

Ive not unloaded my car from last week so hoping to do another one this week, ive got afew more bits to add to it too.sorry i missed you i just logged on and straight out again as my son was hovering right behind me ( as usual ) wanting to get on facebook !!

Hi Sue come onto my home is a mess on the old style thread. Its been really helpfull and you wont feel alone with struggling to do housework.

Id join the freecycle if I were you as Iv had some fantastic stuff and Iv got rid of stuff on there. Also look on gumtree as there is a section for giving and receiving free goods.

Have you looked into free classes at your local college it would be a great way of meeting people and give your confidence a boost.

i'm gonna look on theses sites
i'd love to meet people just not got the confidence to go and not sure what i would do..catch 22 really :)

    Hi Sue,

So glad things are picking up for you. Well done on the boot sale!

You're right, mums love their kids and want the best for them but as you say you need a life too. My friend put up with her son's behaviour for years before she threw him out, but she reached a point where enough was enough. She still loves him and misses him, and still buys him birthday and Christmas presents. The last present she gave him was some money in a card and he had a go at her because it was less than the amount she gave to her other children. When she pointed out that she was still paying to replace the stuff he'd stolen and for the repairs to the damage he caused in her rented house he didn't have an answer. She said if the money wasn't good enough for him she would have it back but he had already spent it of course.

I think you have done so incredibly well, getting away from your violent partner and setting up a new safe home for your family, and dealing with your debts and your son. You should feel really proud of yourself, you are a strong person.

Hope next week is miles better than last week!

Its comforting to know i'm not the only one

Well done!! I'm going to do the same, hair is a mess today and nails need some love - by doing it we feel better about ourselves so it's a good thing!! Glad you're feeling better - you have come so far! xx
Life is too short not to love what you do.

Don't go getting yourself too close to the fight, you don't want to get hurt on top of everything else. Like you said, you need your health. Personally, I'd print off the page where he's talking about it and send it to the police. Oh, and maybe have a mess around with his 'Interests' section while you're in there. :D

It's great to see you're feeling better and I'm glad I could help on that first night. And yes, I don't know what I'd do without pasta either. :D

Im glad your feeling better Sue and Im sure your on the right path. Im lucky with my eldest who is sixteen on sat but Iv got support from my oh and it makes a lot of difference. At the end of the day you can only do your best with him and its up to him if he takes the right path or not.
