    Hi Sue

sorry to hear about your hard times. sorry i cant offer any advice on DMP or the like but i thought id suggest some online surveys to make extra ££

i use valued opinions - pays about £1 per survey which converts to vouchers. i always get the tesco ones which helps with the shopping.

another good one is opinion world. this one offers vouchers or the money gets paid straight into your account (via paypal).

not much, but every little helps.

with regard to your 16yr old, perhaps he should read this thread - seeing how low you are and how his behaviour is contributing to it may shock him into growing up. (well its worth a shot)

    sending cyber hugs to you

    xx

I just popped into the thread to say Good Luck Sue, I'm glad to see from all the smileys of late in your posts, that things have improved since your first post.

Just keep with it and the thread and I'm sure things will keep looking brighter as time goes on.

    BIT OF GOOD NEWS !!

I know its easy for people to say just THROW HIM OUT but its hard when its your own.believe me i have done before now , ive even called the police to remove him from the house when he's kicked off.i hate him for what he's done and for what he does but i still love him he's my son...Ive already told him if he messes his college place up i want no more to do with him because i have bent over backwards to sort it all out and to get him there each week...next few months are make or break time !!...i need a life too

    Hi Sue,

So glad things are picking up for you. Well done on the boot sale!

You're right, mums love their kids and want the best for them but as you say you need a life too. My friend put up with her son's behaviour for years before she threw him out, but she reached a point where enough was enough. She still loves him and misses him, and still buys him birthday and Christmas presents. The last present she gave him was some money in a card and he had a go at her because it was less than the amount she gave to her other children. When she pointed out that she was still paying to replace the stuff he'd stolen and for the repairs to the damage he caused in her rented house he didn't have an answer. She said if the money wasn't good enough for him she would have it back but he had already spent it of course.

I think you have done so incredibly well, getting away from your violent partner and setting up a new safe home for your family, and dealing with your debts and your son. You should feel really proud of yourself, you are a strong person.

Hope next week is miles better than last week!

You're ahead of me there! Since we decorated the bedroom last year we have had no curtains, no blinds, nothing on our bedroom windows. We have to get dressed in the dark. :rotfl: The kids rooms have all blackout blinds. I'd never get them again. Teenagers don't need an excuse not to get up - it's just encouraging them by keeping everything pitchblack! :rotfl:

Hello Sue... I'm supposed to be getting some sleep soon but I thought I'd pop in and say hi, and keep you company for a bit.
I would ask you over to help with my bedroom - it's in dire need of a clear out - but Dh is asleep and I think he might object if a couple of women started turfing stuff out around him!
    When's the next car boot?

Hi Sue come onto my home is a mess on the old style thread. Its been really helpfull and you wont feel alone with struggling to do housework.

Id join the freecycle if I were you as Iv had some fantastic stuff and Iv got rid of stuff on there. Also look on gumtree as there is a section for giving and receiving free goods.

Have you looked into free classes at your local college it would be a great way of meeting people and give your confidence a boost.
