Strider, a bit of friendly advice, GET YOUR CAR FIXED.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

I think the problem is it's always your opinion that every else is to blame, when you're a nightmare on the road.
I like the new one with the poor bloke in the mini though. Not only do you see him, you actually speed up to tailgate him, and weave all over the back of him, as he merges in from the slip road.
You going to get someone stop and lay you out one day.
Couldn't be bothered watching another after my last response. Seen enough. Funny how there seems to a lone voice here.
I heard a tale from a reliable source of someone a few years back who was been hassled as described here.
Car locked up for some reason, bang.
Wonder who paid for that mess...."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

you pass a large white sign at 0:01 which shows you a big junction to the left. You can see a van pull out at 0:02 and you are about 90/100yrds (maybe) away from the junction, with the black Mini already deciding they will pull out at 0:03.
It appears that you only started to brake at 0:08, some 5 seconds after the Mini pulled out.
Yes, they should have got on with it and got upto speed, but they probably thought you were going too fast/reacting too slow so did what I'd do and dordle along to annoy the car behind...
Strider does 180.5 yards in 6.57 seconds. (197 video frames @ 30fps)
That's an average speed of 56.20mph (in a 40mph zone)

Well that mini shouldn't have pulled out, especially as he was never going to match the speed of traffic ue to turning right nearly straight away.He definitely shouldn't have brake tested Strider. Then Strider obviously didn't brake early enough when it was obvious the mini was coming regardless, presumably to sho how p**sed off he was at the mini driver but it could have resulted in them colliding which in my mind would have been both their faults.Who cares who is to blame if you get injured and its avoidable though?I'd rather not risk getting my legs smashed up than know I was in the right and get paid out compo.0

Flawed and inaccurate, you can't judge an exact position or speed by a video camera that cost £20 on ebay, has an internal clock that runs fast/slow depending on what mood it's in and doesn't in fact run at the 30fps it's claimed to run at... It's actually closer to 23fps, but it's variable depending upon lighting conditions and the time it takes to save the frame to the class 2 memory card, editing is a nightmare because the sound ends up several seconds out of sync.
Not only that, but i've just used that distance tool and you can't make an accurate assumption based upon that perspective.... Moving either of the markers around I got variations of more than 25 metre's at either of those points!“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

But you don't disagree with you speed though?0

But you don't disagree with you speed though?
Im saying it's impossible to judge, just the variation in distance by perspective and without considering the issues with the camera keeping accurate time and maintaining a constant fps.... The speed varies from 52 to 59 mph.
When looking from the camera's view point (at less than 1.5m from the ground), 1 metre is just a few mm on the screen, the further from the camera you get the worse it gets, more than 10 metre's or so and your looking at half a mm on the screen, more than that and you'll be measuring pixels per metre.
Why do you think speed camera's are mounted so high?
The distance differences I can simulate, the camera's deficiencies I cannot., in fact every single video it takes, it's records the last 30 seconds or so 3 or four times onto the end of each video in a flash of around 200 fps, windows MP can't play them.
When edited the FPS gets altered to a standard rate, the sound goes off sync by several seconds, so it really is impossible to use the video as an accurate measurement of time, especially over such a short distance.
Assuming the distance was correct, even a variation of just 0.5 seconds will produce a speed variation of 9.5mph.
Add that variation to the previous figure's and your looking at a variation between 42mph and 68mph.
One is ok and one is a driving ban.... So for as entertaining as that little stunt was, and for as valid as it may have seemed, it's actually extremely flawed. Much like most govt figures once you bother to punch in the details.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

So, Asbokid was a lucky guess then, and you were speeding by over 15mph towards a busy junction with traffic clearly visible?
(If you had hit him pulling out, his fault, but if you had hit the back of him, where you're tailgating, you would have been to blame).0
