So why not do it when you first got behind them? You only did it once they'd stopped. Had then not stopped you wouldn't have used the horn.
You need to take a long look at the way you drive as you are far from perfect yourself.0 -

Dude.... What is it with you and chevrons? it's not illegal to overtake on chevrons which are surrounded by broken white lines, i NEVER cross chevrons with solid white lines.
So why was it necessary for you to make that overtake on the chevrons?0 -

I think you'll find that you did cut in front of the lorry. Quite sharply too! 1:08

Not only did you cut in front of him, but you were in the wrong lane too, as the right lane was for turning right, as per the markings on the road.
At 1:09 you see the front of your car dip as you brake hard for the roundabout.
The as you enter the roundabout (at speed an in anger) yes there are G forces, but I've never seen G forces like that in a corner, unless some serious speed was involved...
In the following clip,
http://www.youtube.com/user/Strider9655#p/u/1/OxmHShlxtOU
you pass a large white sign at 0:01 which shows you a big junction to the left. You can see a van pull out at 0:02 and you are about 90/100yrds (maybe) away from the junction, with the black Mini already deciding they will pull out at 0:03.
It appears that you only started to brake at 0:08, some 5 seconds after the Mini pulled out.
Yes, they should have got on with it and got upto speed, but they probably thought you were going too fast/reacting too slow so did what I'd do and dordle along to annoy the car behind...0 -

Yes, but this would give you time to react without having to blast your horn - which was pointless to be honest!0 -

interesting how you went on the shevrons at 1:04 in this clip to overtake and then at 1:08 you chop in front of him. And then at 1:12 look at how much the car rolls. I assume you were chop sawing at the steering wheel with anger...
This comment 'I avoiding cutting him up by holding right until the road merged, he took this as an invite to overtake on the inside.' made me laugh.
All the truck does is continue it's path in lane one. Strider yet again is driving like a !!!!!!.;)0 -
I do wish you wouldn't resort to words like !!!!!! and !!!!!! head it makes you seem childish and immature.
We all deal with ignorant and poor driving, I now drop back, drop back and drop back, if at all possible I pull in and let tail gaiters go on their highway to hell.Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0 -

The driver in front doesn't really need to know of your presence. If they have to execute an emergency stop, their concern is what's in front.
YOU should have been aware of the driver in front. They should have honked YOU.
You know, you destroy your critique of others every time. Impatient, inconsiderate and frequently wrong.
Btw, if you feel that a mechanical fault with your vehicle is affecting the way you have to drive / make decisions on the road, you're a bit of a danger aren't you? :cool:0 -

I was wondering about that too, isn't it an offence to drive a vehicle with a defect like that ?Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0 -

[Laws RTA 1988 sect 36 & TSRGD regs 10 & 26]
130
Areas of white diagonal stripes or chevrons painted on the road. These are to separate traffic lanes or to protect traffic turning right.- if the area is bordered by a broken white line, you should not enter the area unless it is necessary and you can see that it is safe to do so
