I remember reading somewhere that these are still widely used in Ireland, don't know if it's true or not though

Used to be a long stretch heading into Cosford form Wolverhampton.

One direction it swooped down a long bank snaking in gentle curves.

Great going down not so much fun coming up;)

This forum is just all about b!!!!ing each other off these days.

I was driving along the A697 the other day at 60mph coming back from Scotland. This mum truck pulled out in front of me from a side road when there was no one behind me for miles causing me to brake.

I'm sure you lot will turn this around on me like it's my fault or something. *rolleyes*

^^ "all and sundry"? I just see people ganging together whether they agree or not, it's the pack mentality of the weak mind. It's interesting and quite indicative of our indoctrinated society driven by popular (but often incorrect) opinion and the media.

Anyway (added for the benefit of confused mikey) - Re: the overtaking comments above

Everything I have to say can be seen here

No Strider it's not everyone ganging up on you.

But it is people trying to tell you you've got it wrong,(again dad?) Shades of !!!!!! Emery

!!!!!! Strider this is nothing to do with the media, just YOU, someone that portrays himself to be an average Joe motorist?. yes/no?, having a go at a guy that's trying to get about to earn a living.

Could you not spare him 5 seconds of your highly valued life???:A:A

How were you over taken by the lorry when the lorry was cleary infront of you at the start of the clip?

    http://www.youtube.com/user/Strider9655#p/u/10/E0xlNy80fhU

Then when you both exited the roundabout at 0:13 the lorry was still in front of you... Then at 0:17 you were (I assume) level with the lorry, possibly in his blind spot - as he could have assumed you took the next exit at the roundabout as you were in the right hand lane?

At 0:21 you can see the lorries headlights on the back on the white van, so one would assume you didn't see the lorry as you then made an attempt to get in behind the van...

Speaking as a truck driver, it bever ceases to amaze me the lengths some idiots will go to in order to avoid being behind me. Strider is only one more example.
