    mgenta,

What evil little parasites your neighbours are... I'm sorry you've had this nasty episode in what should be an enjoyable time of holiday preparations.

Here's a little tip from the malevolent mind of Jasper-dog: Next time you get wind of your neighbours going on a long holiday/stay-with-relatives of their own, pop a few pairs of breeding mice through their letterbox as soon as the ne'er-do-wells have left. Each evening until the swines return, make a discreet visit to drop some food through the letterbox - and then let nature take its course.... Satisfying revenge, swiftly accomplished...;)

Hope you have a wonderful cruise. xx

Aw thanks I've just resided to the fact that 's the way it is now, move on,my partner told me that yesterday and I just couldn't it was eating me up them having this shirt I searched for high and low,It was a silver grey paul smith with tiny black polka dots and flower pattern inside the collar and cuff :(
I'd like to descibe how tacky they are a bit just so you know what a nightmare I'm in,lol
They have 3 patios each patio has a massive trellis like fence around it the trellis has green xmas lights all over it the trampoline has a green ropelight flashing on the patio nearest to me they erected a black gazebo to screen me out,lol inside teh gazebo, yep you guessed green fairy lights the "gas" BBQ has a fence around it too (sorry no lights there) but the flower beds all have colour changing solar lights and her little tree has blue fairy lights
I'm not kidding you.I'm 51 and she is 30 and tacky beyond believe,so that is the sort of mentality I'm up against :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Do they rent? Might be worth contacting their landlord
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

I dont think that keeping her garden nice and having how she likes is tacky. She obviously likes it. So what if she has fairy lights?!

I cant remember the exact law (saw it on dont get done get dom..). Anyway he used an example" if you recieved "un solicited" goods could you keep them?" You can. You didnt ask for them, but you can keep them. I think the eposide was last week.

Just watched this exact episode: if you receive unsolicited items in the post, you are legally entitled to keep them as an "Unsolicited Gift", with no minimum time you have to keep them before they're legally yours and no obligation whatsoever to make any attempt to pay for them.

I don't claim to know anything about the law,but I do know that the word "appropriate" under the theft act means assuming the rights of an owner.

These aren't unsolicted goods. The parcel wasn't addressed to the neighbough nor intended for them so doesn't fall under this.

Unsolicited Goods Act 1971 is there to stop companies sending you items in the post then trying to charge you for them.

I am starting to realise that there is probably a lot about how the OP got to have such a terrible relationship with a neighbour, that she hasn't told us.Its unlikely its all one sided!

Have to say I was completely stunned with her comments. Its of no concern to OP how her neighbour lives her life. I could understand he complaints if the garden was 6ft high with weeds, old cars and full of rats, but to moan that she has a nice gazebo with fairy lights and flower beds just beggars belief!
