Ooh taxi! When hypno's finished with your daughter, is she free to come round to mine? :rotfl:

Great news on the weightloss and the amount you've achieved around the house. I'm making the most of not having coursework at the moment by earning some extra cash in a part-time job for a couple of weeks. I know I should throw it at my debts, but I do fancy spending a bit on myself! I've got something to celebrate at the moment so how much should I spend on myself do you think?

Hi Taxi, glad things seem to be going better for you now.

Just thought I'd tell you how impressed I am with all the washing you seem to do:A . You mention doing at least one load most times you post. Me, I usually wait until the 2 washing baskets are overflowing before I get round to doing any. Recouperating or not, you still put me to shame:o

    Morning Taxi!

Minnie - how about a straight 50/50 split between debt repayments and a treat for yourself? Or is there is a particular treat that you have in mind? If it is less than 50% of what you earn then I would say go for it!

Taxi I hope you have a good day, please tell your daughter that she is much in demand!!

Hi my wonderful friends...how nice to hear from you all....I'll tell my lovely daughter that you all want to borrow her and see what she says.I'm surprised she'll do it for me because her full time job is cleaning at a well known gym chain...but she's good to her old mum....minnie I'd do as Hypno suggested and pay half /spend half at the end of the day it's what feels right for you....
Well I had the car fixed £180....I needed new brake discs and pads at the back..I know this is a lot but I took it to an independant a couple of weeks ago for a service and he mustn't have checked the brakes or else my pads and brakes wouldn't have been so far worn....so ended up taking it to the main dealers...

Hi taxi. Sorry to hear that the brakes were missed by that independent bloke. Will you mention it to him? He might offer you something off your next service (that's if you feel comfortable taking it back to him!) or something.

With that £180 on the brakes does it still work out cheaper having taken it to him for the service? I'm guessing no though.

Glad that your daughter is coming over to help out - that should be a bit of a weight off your mind I hope.

    Hi Taxi

I printed off your entire diary yesterday and spent yesterday evening reading it. Definitely not boring!!

You are doing so well - well done!

A friend of mine at work had a hysterectomy before Christmas and it has taken her quite a while to recover. She had 3 months off work and even when she came back she found it quite hard going at first - and we are talking an office job here, not driving a taxi! She had to reduce her hours for the first couple of weeks because she was getting too tired and she kept pulling her stomach muscles so was in pain for quite a while. So take it easy and don't do too much too soon!

Look forward to reading more of your progress!!
