Taxi 73 diary

Hi everyone...I'll apologise now...if you're easily bored then forgive me.I wasn't going to start this until february but thanks to some lovely peeps in minnies diary...they have convinced me to go for it...
So here goes..I have previously done a SOA when I first joined but being self-employed...incomings and outgoings are different week in week out...so it's difficult to pay a set amount of debt off per month...so I vary it a lot...I am managing to pay the debts but do wish to be debt free.
I had my lightbulb moment in Oct and can say when I added the debts together was horrified!!!Unfortunately pre lb moment I booked a month away to Goa for my husband and I..we have also saved £1000 spending money...I now don't intend to spend all that(any left I will pay off the halifax card when I get back)
rather than get a return taxi to the airport £150..we've bought train tickets £26 for the 2 of us
the dog was going to the kennels £200 daughter is having him £50
now for the other things I've done...
joined quidco, pigsback and test and vote
got a boots advantage card...£132 on that (sale for christmas next year)
got new tesco cards..will use points for deals not shopping
BT were charging£14pm instead of £11..refund £36 dd £11pm
morgan stanley cc ...£60 cashback
british gas owed me 1 month back on electric..£31 returned
was with british gas for electric/gas registered with their click energy as it's cheaper
cut down on silly spending
living out of freezer and cupboards
heating servicing...complained that they didn't look after loyal customers so they reduced it by £10pm
My real biggy will be giving up smoking in feb...£70 p/w will then be paid off the credit cards...this will def happen feb as I know I will not enjoy not smoking on my holidays
Sorry to bore you guys and thanks for listening.:j

Thankkyou for your kind reply...I am determined to get rid of most of this debt in 2007..I sometimes think it would be easier if I had a wage but am going to throw every spare penny at it anyway..hopefully not too many glitches ahead:D

Well done Taxi, good idea to take the plunge now.

Can't wait until Blackpool Airport expands a bit more....it's a real nuisance having to travel to other airports when there is one here on our doorstep.

    Where are you flying from?

Well here I am again..back again to bore you!!...had a strange old day today..It was my day off...had to go to dentist..£15.50 ...could've done without spending that...never mind...there was a nice surprise in the post however...£15.50 of asda vouchers aquired from when I used to use their credit card...so bought loads of store cupboard ingredients as didn't need any shopping really as living out of freezer anyway...I ended up spending an extra £13.60 ...bad as I wasn't going shopping anyway!!
Popped to a friends house hadn't manage to see her for months and she made me lunch and we had a long chat ...so that was nice...went to bank did my business...got a mini statement and it said..£452.49 overdrawn..I was ecstatic thought that's great esp as loads of bills go out at end and beginning of month...shortlived though...on checking realised my office hadn't cashed my £460 subs cheque...so Od is double that...it's up and down like a yoyo..next week it will be back down again as no bills will go out...(after I've banked)
I think what I need to do is pay minimum payment on ccs as they are interest free...that way my overdraft comes down..I paid £200 this month on them even though they're interest free...please feel free to advice me on what to do on this..think I've bored you enough now...:rotfl:

Me and my following! :rotfl: You make me sound like a cult leader!

Actually, that's not a bad idea. L Ron Hubbard made a mint by starting the Scientologists.

Off to dream up some wacky pseudo-religious scheme...
