Mine keeps kicking me out as well Taxi.

It's taking me ages to type this, the boiler is kaput so we have de-camped to bed.
OH has decided to go to sleep, so I'm in the dark.

Oh dear ..do you not have boiler insurance?...if you phone british gas they will fix it for you and just charge slightly more for the policy that's what they did for me when we moved in 4 years ago..I only phoned for a gas man ..but it worked out chaep..I think £15 p/m for the full year...s was covered all year then...good job I did it that way as it needed a fewc jobs doing...so was a bargain

I haven't yet been and poked and prodded it.
I have to go outside and in the side door to look at it.
By the time I had got chippy tea on way home, it was 8pm and I couldn't be bothered to look.
I'll threaten it in the morning.

Night night! Make sure you threaten it well, with a big stick or the the dump. Works for me! Mind you, so does a big kick.........

Woo Hoo, I now have heat and hot water again.

I went and fluttered my eyelashes at the evil boiler and begged it to work. I fear i have sold myself into slavery for it.
Anyway, whilst I twiddled with one of it's knobs, it clicked at me and the pilot re-lit.

Now all I have to do is thaw out the ice box we live in.

Just wanted to say well done for being tough with the sales person trying to sell you a loan and credit cards.

Also, am glad you wrote about the Martin Lewis book as I will be ordering that soon as well (when I can budget for it) and your post whetted my appetite!

Hi whatatwit and looking ahead..glad you fixed the boiler whatatwit..that must've been a relief!!!...I haven't had a profitable day today...it's been rubbish...I got bored and came home...then popped to my daughter's for an hour...hope it's busier tommorrow...people are probably saving their money for the christmas parties...oh will probably be busy tonight...so that will recoup something..it'll sort it'self out...had a quite boring day today ..so nothing to report really..hope you're all having a good week-end..
Spends today £2.60 for lunch...
oh well only 5 weeks and a bit till my holiday...yippee!!:santa2: :snow_laug

As it was fine here, I walked into town.
It was busy, but not really heaving with people.

My daughter is off to an alternative Barbie party tonight, she's going as Punk Barbie. :eek:
I think she's going to borrow my Dr Martens to wear with her neon fishnets.
I've been roped in to back comb the hair.
Lord help us.
