Sorry to hear you're feeling stressed today, Taxi. When is your lovely daughter coming to sort your house out? I hope the results will be brilliant and leave you totally stress-free for weeks afterwards:beer:
Can I be nosy and ask if you're having a lot of problems with Tiscali? I'm with BT but as soon as my contract runs out I was planning on changing to Tiscali. Do I take it you wouldn't recommend them?
Take care

Hi you 2....Hypno...I haven't got tiscali sorted yet 21/2 hours I've been at it!!!!......The story well I have been very happy with tiscali for over 4 years....I pay £14.99 for 2megs....Friday evening I received a call from their sales team asking if I wanted to go with Tiscali Max for £19.99 p/m....8 megs and free phone calls...I asked the man if this was the same offer that I'd seen on the website and he said no...so stupidly I said yes....I then checked on the website on one section it said phone line, broadband 8 megs and calls for £19.99...on the other web page(account page)...it said 8 megs and calls £17.99 and you have to take there line rental at £10.99..will continue in a sec don't want to loose the post!!!0

So obviously I want the total package for £19.99...so sent an e-mail to complaints dept....explaining what had gone on and what are they going to do with a loyal customer!!!...the reply was you can change any packages on the internet....I knew this already and it didn't answer my question...
Left it at that and got an e-mail saying my upgrade was successful and I'd hear shortly....this prompted me to phone them....to ask these questions again and I was refered back to the sales team...who referred me to billing and about another 5 depts...now I'm really peed....some of them said I had to pay line rental others didn't....I've had enough...I want it restored back to what it was on friday when I was happy but no they can't do that....there is one dept that can and I'll be on to them tommorrow....I then rang the sales dept again and a lady that seemed to know what she was on about...apologisedand has given me the cancellation number..so I can get it put back to normal...then I've to phone billing and ask for compensation...then write to head office in that order she said.......0 -
This I will do.....If you want to go with them that's entirely up to you but this is my experience and if they don't sort it I'm going to someone else...they've really upset me....
My daughter is coming tommorrow to do the house so that's less stress I guess...they've had me in tears and that is certainly hard for anyone to do to me....0 -
So sorry if that depresses any of you but I needed the rant but I haven't got anything happy to post either to even it out!!!0

I have had problems of a lesser nature with talk talk, but out of the blue, yesterday I got a letter of apology (hadn't asked for one) saying that I was getting a refund of £10.50 - ok, so not much but I hadn't asked for one, so bonus really, plus I could cancel my broadband (which I am still waiting for!) without sticking to the contract! So I am now free to look elsewhere, and I hadn't even complained!!!!
Hope tomorrow is a good day for you xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi taxi
Sorry to hear about all the hassles. We're having problems too with Nildram. OH switched the direct debit from his credit card to his bank, and they are taking from both! I have to say I'm more angry with HSBC, he always has difficulties cancelling DDs, they just don't stop them!
Anyway you don't want to hear my woes on top of your own! I hope your daughter does a great job and you have a lovely clean house tomorrow.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
