Wow taxi, a new car  that's falling off the wagon big time!

But we all know by now that you're DFW through and through and driving is your business so that car is bound to be a really good investment. Well done for getting such a big discount.

Hope that concludes the financial disasters saga for a while. Have a good weekend and enjoy your lovely clean house (any chance of your daughter popping down here? no I thought not)

She's run out of stardrops and microfibre cloths....I think I told you all earlier that she works as a cleaner for a big gym chain...she actually had them buy microfibre cloths for the whole team...and got them from poudland...not bad for an 18 year old eh...
As for the new car I can't see it as a debt really as it's all tax deductible and I'm sure it's going to save money in the long run as the other car is having loads of repairs done circa £5000 per year....couldn't believe OH agreed...men eh...I mentioned it to him at the garage and he said let's look then and 30 mins later it was all ordered and finance approved...

Hi everyone...hope you are all safe with all this bad weather!!!....little man his here tonight as he popped in earlier and decided he wanted to stay with grandma....he's in bed at the minute but has just been crying and has a temperature and is coughing...ahhhh....so have just taken him some juice and given him 2 teaspoons calpol...he seems quieter....he has a little spot and have just remembered his mum said chickenpox is going around nursery...hope he hasn't picked that up!!!
...rang egg before and transferred £1406 into current account towards the £2000 car deposit....already paid £200 when I ordered it so only £394 to find by end of week so not too bad...
not a lot else happening went out with daughter this morning for a couple of hours but didn't spend anything...

Ahh poor little lad! Nothing really you can do for chickenpox except calpol and a cool flannel if he starts to itch, unless you have any calamine lotion tucked away somewhere?

Hope you don't come down with shingles as a result - make sure you look after yourself xx

I'm not sure if you can get shingles more than once, but as you can get chickenpox more than once, I would err on the side of caution.

Hope you all have an itch-free night!

You can get shingles more than once. But the virus is always within your body, so him having chickenpox isn't going to make much of a difference.

That's good news then (I think!!) - you can still give him huggles when he needs them then.

If I get it I get it.....but he'll still get all his hugs and kisses...can't resist him he's so lovely...sounds like he's gone off now...I've stripped him down to his nappy and he only has a think blanket on...his favourite one....I'll keep my fingers crossed that he sleeps right through...that was another unusual thing as he always sleeps the minute you put him down at 7pm and he didn't tonight.
