Hi taxi.
Marvellous that you are feeling in good spirits and you are right, you have so many lovely things going for you so try not to be down.
I read on another thread that you like visual aids so maybe you could put together just a small scrapbook or something of photos, stories (from the newspaper or whatever), threads from on here - anything really, that make you feel good and happy.
Then if you do ever feel like you are slipping into a downer you can leaf through the scrapbook and hopefully it will lift you.
Maybe I should take my own advice....:D
So back to work soon then? You will feel tired at first so don't overdo it but when you are back to normal hours and start smashing the debt down you will be feeling GREAT!
The gym sounds like a great idea, exercise & endorphins and all that....top stuff. As soon as you feel a piece of clothing feel that little bit looser it will boost you no end.
You've just got so much to look forward to and I am really pleased for you!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Thanks for that LA....I'm being driven nuts by computers at the moment ....I had the guy from PC world today to set up the wireless network and don't even know if he's done that right...I was using my laptop and was trying to activate software they sent me an e-mail but it landed on my desktop...I don't understand all this technical stuff so guess I will have to pay someone else to sort it out0

You shouldn't have to pay them....if you call their helpline (mind you - depends how expensive it is to call) then they should be able to talk you through it.
It might be worth you having a look in local paper or little local magazine to see if there is anyone who does a bit of PC tuition for a few hours (not all at once) just to get your confidence up as really & truly, it's not that difficult I promise.
OK I have to go now - it's Heroes time!

I meant somebody out of the paper as PC world were useless...it cost me £89.99 to have them set up a network...you think they would've helped me set up e-mail..I tried to phone their helpline £1 a minute and waited about 4 mins no answer so didn't want to wait any longer0

I managed to get e-mail through on here before but one has gone through the desktop...computers!!!0

In my experience I have found that with any computer queries, you are best to ask the youngest person you can find - they just click, and shift and the job is done!!
So perhaps you should volunteer to look after that lovely grandson of yours for a couple of hours - he will be bound to have it all up and running!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Afternoon all,
Hope you are all well!!!...sorry I haven't been about much the last few days as I've been really busy and not with anything interesting may I add!!!!
This networking computers has been a real problem and my computer guy has done a lot more than the Tech Guys did and it still isn't happening..he's been here 2 nights on the trot and is coming back tonight...DH and computer man have decided to make the desktop vista as well so this should solve the problems...so I've had to drive to Bolton today to pick up a copy (oem)of which you have to buy a piece of hardware to go with it..so now have a drive to sell on e-bay or something like that unless computer man buys it off me!!!...that'll be another effort I guess but the whole lot only cost £88 so cheaper than pc world or suchlike and it's legal....I have to pick up said computer man at 6pm at his work...so will probably not be on much tonight again...so will have to catch up when I can!!!!
I have up-dated my sig as my loan went out the other day...nearly half way to target for christmas now...I will be by monday...YIPPEE!!!!
My complaint is being dealt with at PC world so will update you when I know what's happening!!!!
My complaint with Tiscali may be resolved shortly...it's with the CEO now to action the last part of the problem then we can sort the compensation out!!!!
Not a lot else to report at the moment....I have just roasted a duck for tommorrows tea(1st time for that) but at £3 was a bargain a few weeks ago at Asda reduced from £6.50...I roasted today as if it went wrong I could cook something else for tommorrow...speak to you all soon ...take carexxx0 -
Hi Taxi
Glad you are forging ahead on all fronts. Just don't over do it to much with going back to work, AND the slimming world AND the swimming. You need a bit of energy left for debt busting you know!
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

That total debt figure is coming down nicely. Will very soon be in the 30s.
I hope you get the computers all sorted out before too long.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
