Morning Hypno and all...just popped on to up-date sig while awaiting computer man....so am now past halfway on my christmas challenge...will need to update tommorrow as well as one of my loans due out..so that will be just under £200...getting there slowly but surely...
Well,so far today I have rung national insurance,my accountant and checked online banking!!!!....I've got to go to the bank after and put the take in...
I need my sleep pattern to return as well and am rather worried as I need to be awake to drive ...lol...catch up with you all later...have a good day

Why can't life be simple?...Mr computer man came this morning spent ages on it but wasn't able to fix it!!!..he has phoned his business partner who is coming tonight and his speciality is networking...so...here's hoping...due to me getting his no fix no fee service...this morning didn't cost anything...please keep your fingers crossed for me

Afternoon all...computer still not totally fixed yet...he came out last night and is due around anytime now to finish it off....it seems to be letting me in now but is taking ages to respond so hopefully he will be here soon.
Just updated my sig as my other loan went out today..and will have to update again in a few days as the car loan will go out....so am quite happy about that....will soon be sub 40k which is great news and maybe £7k by christmas is achievable....!!!!!...Seaxwyn is definitely going to win the £35k challenge though...will be back later

Morning all...hope everyone is well...
At last the computers are both working correctly..it turned out(eventually) that the security settings had been set so high by PC World that it was taking forever to unencrypt the data thus timing out!!!!
I'm due back to work tomorrow as my sick note runs out today and seeing as I got a letter this morning about my sick note running out I decided to ring them only to find they are going to recall my payment as there will be a few days too many on it...so this means I won't get paid and that it can take 10 working days to sort out!!!!
Ahh well wouldn't be much fun without all these ups and downs

Sorry to hear of the sick-pay situation putting a damper on an otherwise successful day(getting the computer running 100% I mean). So glad that's all sorted, it must have been a nightmare. I don't know where I'd be without my computer running well, it's amazing how we've all got to depend on them nowadays and feel lost without them. I think PC World should be sued for all the expense you've had through their ineptitude. Aren't their IT technicians called The Tech Guys or something? What a joke!

I'm so happy for you that you feel well enough now to go back to work, but please don't try to do too much too soon. Just ease yourself in gently(if such a thing is possible in the taxi-driving world). It's sod's law that there'll probably be a mad rush for taxis in Blackpool over the weekend and you won't know what's hit you. I hope not anyway. I expect you're looking forward to driving your nice new taxi too.

Try to take it easy tonight and get an early night if you can.
Will be thinking of you tomorrow as you venture back into the world of work.

Hi Imp....I don't feel ready to go tomorrow so am thinking of leaving it until sunday as I'm really tired with the stress of the last couple of weeks..it will probably be really busy tomorrow and I would make good money but think I will go Sunday instead...I haven't even sorted my float out yet...think I will have an early night tonight though as I've been awake till about 4am...then getting up about 9am and falling asleep at teatime for a couple of hours then not being tired at bedtime!!!!!...

I am glad the computers now running but for God's sake, can you believe it? PC World strike again. What a bunch of numpties.

I SO wish I was closer to you! I'm not saying I could have/would have fixed it but at least I could have given it a go, tinkered and it wouldn't have cost you anything.

Sorry the sick pay is all a bit messed up too. Your luck WILL change for the better soon!

You are right not to go into work if you are tired & stressed. Saturday night as a taxi driver in Blackpool when feeling stressed? Hmmm I think not! Best wait till you are ready as safety is the issue here as you well know.

Deep breaths......you need to pamper yourself tonight/tomorrow and go back when you are ready.

Absolutely. Rest tonight, rest some more tomorrow and if AND ONLY IF you are feeling up to it on Sunday, go back then.

But don't set yourself too much in the way of expectation, just in case.
