Evening Imp and seaxwyn and anyone else that pops in....
Imp I'm so sorry that your OH isn't supportive as that must be really hard for you as I know it is for Seaxwyn.Hijack away ...I have no problem with that ...you are always here to cheer me up and I am grateful for that...and anything I can do for you I will!!!!!...
I will definitely read your diary if you want to do one...if you don't do one now you may feel like doing one later on down the line.
Your both right about Mr Taxi...he's lovely and has really looked after me and the children over the past 14 years...I have 5 children that he has brought up who have all turned into lovely adults all ranging from 18-26 years old...thats a challenge for any man and he always puts us first....he only has one brother and honestly you wouldn't want to know him....
Until I met DH ...my previous partners were bullying tight users...I am so grateful I met my DH as I think if I ever lost him that I would never find anyone else like him...we work as a team ...I'm the loud one he is quiet...he doesn't do risk...I do...we compliment each other well...
If I could clone him I'd make a fortune...If my DH doesn't agree with me I work him around to thinking it's his idea that usually works...lol...have a good weekend

Hellooo taxi! I hope you have had a good day. Isn't it amazing how differing everyone's OHs are! I think I will make do with mine. He may not be fab with money, but he works his socks off and doesn't interfere with my moneymaking efforts so I can't complain really!

  • Hello,
New on the forum so am working out how this all works.Just came across this thread and wanted to add a couple of things. If you've not been to Goa before, a friend of mine goes regularly and she says it's really cheap there. And the other thing was that I came across a recommendation on this site on an online spending log - www.spendingdiary.com
I cant remember who recommended it else I'd thank them. Anyway, i've been using it the last 2 months and have found it really useful so thought you might like to try it out.
    Good Luck!

HI AND WELCOME BACK TO BLACK....unfortunately I spent a month in GOA in january this year..it was the dirtiest filthiest hovel I have been to and will never ever book through Airtours again or fly my travel..my hotel was changed 5 days before we flew out and the one we were put in was filthy..try rats and sewage right outside amongs tablecloths left on tables with bird poo on and the sink in our room not cleaned for over a week and filthy towels amongst other things..if I'd known that the hotel would've been that bad then I would've cancelled..the holiday was a present for DH 50th birthday..so its imposssible to find a months holiday with 5 days notice...seeing as we booked it 10 1/2 months in advance!!!!..we will probably go back to Cuba or Mexico....
Spending diaries are fantastic aren't they?...they really do help..so am glad you found that one..funny enough I was looking for that link..so thanks..pop in here anytime you want...the more the merrier ..take carexx

I'm feeling quite tired as well but came home to a lovely dinner of pork chops, new potatoes and green beans and gravy made by DH...and he'd hoovered up for me so the only jobs I need to do is the washing!!!!..he's so sweet
  • Hi taxi
Glad you had a good first day back at work , I was wondering how you had gone on. Funny how people we "know" from online seem to creep into our real lives:D
what a lovely hubby you have to be so thoughtful making you a lovely meal for after your first day back:A, my OH can do beans, beans on toast , jacket potato and beans etc etc, that kind of thing would definately be out of his league:rotfl:

Enjoy relaxing for the rest of the night now
    take care
