Morning All,
Bright day up here today! Good luck to Uolypool's DD for her fresh start today, I hope it goes well xx
Ds2 isn't well
He woke up before midnight last night with a sore tummy, and had an accident in his bed, floor, the hall carpet and the loo floor  The PJ's are in the bin, and thank goodness I bought a carpet that can be bleached! He is a bit wan and pathetic this morning and currently draped on my sofa getting sympathy from Coco. So no work for me today, and no excuses I will need to get on and get stuff done. Just as well really, as after my few days crying my eyes are really swollen and I look awful, and didn't want to have to explain myself to anyone
Thanks very much for the hugs and nice words yesterday, it did set me off crying again though, but to be honest, it isn't taking much!
NPM BIL is doing well; he is at home, they cleared the blockage, took some tissue away for a biopsy and he is on medication to reduce it for now. The biopsy results are back this week, so fingers crossed, although he is still in a bit of pain. Hope whatever you decide to do today, you are OK xx
Have a good day everyone, take care.

Morning all.
HH That was an early start to the day for you! Hope you enjoy all your activities today.
Uolypool Really hope your daughter has a very positive start to the new school.
Gers Welcome back, and thanks for the post. Made me smile.
Miecherox Take it easy girl. Lets hope the move goes smoothly and then you can concentrate on bump!
Got a lie in until 6.45 today!! That's when dd2 (4yrs) made her appearance to tell me that dd1 (12) had fallen out of her bed and was maybe dead! I didn't panic, as I think I would have heard a mighty thump on the floor if that was the case! As I thought, she had got up to go to the loo at some stage and was obviously too tired to climb back up into her bunk, so had curled up and fallen asleep on the floor:cool:.
Loved Extreme Couponing last night. Had been a very long week waiting for it. At last there was a great woman on it. Joyce, who only buys what she needs, rather than having mahoosive stock piles of stuff everywhere. The best bit about her was that she goes round the neighbourhood picking up coupons that others are throwing out in their papers, and spreads the word. Even in the supermarket, she spent the whole time looking in other people's trolleys and telling them ' I hope you used the ... coupon for that'. Honestly she was like a breath of fresh air, compared to the ones who are just plain greedy. And Nathan, who found coupons that would give almost free boxes of cereal. So what did he do? Only went and ordered 1000 boxes, and gave them to his church foodbank!!! That's what extreme couponing should be all about.:D
WM on here, although showers are forecast. Must bake something. Maybe pineapple loaf cake as I have an opened tin, and it is such an easy recipe. 1 tin pineapple crushed inc juice, 2 cups sr flour, 1 cup sugar. Gas4 until baked.
Going to plant some seedling into the garden as they are getting pot bound. Need to plant some more seeds, and really have to get up to lottie and get my spuds in as I still haven't done it.:oFather Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

DD is loving her job - it is only 30 hours a week and minimum wage but at least it is something.
DS has an interview at college on the 24th but he has to change it because he has his physics A level on that day.
Garden has perked up a bit thankfully, after the rain at the weekend my fruit and veggies are looking much perkier
JackieG.. Poor DS and poor you, chin up hun xxx ((((((Hugs))))))
Positive vibes for BIL
Hester........ bl***y social services make me fume
that is why I won't have anything to do with them because of my disabilities, they sent me a snot nosed kid who had no bl***y idea of life and she was told never to come again.
Best get on and do a bit of housework - won't feel like doing much after dentist.
Have good days all xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Morning all. Many thanks for all the best wishes for DD first day at her new school. We had a wobble of nerves at about 8 this morning just as she was about to walk out the door to catch the bus but nothing major. She has arranged to meet her friend at the top of the road by the bus stop, but she went with no 'problems'. Hoping she will txt me later in the day just to reassure me:o that all is well.
Sun is shining again, towels on the line , just got to put darks in and then all done.Dw on .Microwave went bang last night, doubt I will bother to buy a new one, only really used it for nuking jacket pots before bunging them in the oven to crisp.
Having hair cut again this morn, am going from long and wavy to shoulder length and curly.Haven't had 'proper' curls since I was about 15:eek:(23 years ago).

Feeling glum today, lots I could/should be doing but have a feeling I won't get any of it done.
I did some straight talking with DH yesterday, the new business is not taking off as we'd hoped (we have orders but for December!) and I'm up for throwing in the towel but he isn't (wasn't.) I can't see any point in throwing good money after bad, I'd rather use the remainder of my redundancy to pay the mortgage and bills for a few extra months. I've always been the main wage earner with him contributing very little (if anything) financially to the running of the house (though he does ALL the housework, bless him) as his occupation has been badly hit by the recession and by the time he's paid all his overheads he just about has enough to pay his child maintainence(sp?) and buy a lottery ticket and a pint of milk occasionally. I put it to him that he needs to get a job. Any job, even on minimum wage, would leave him with more in his pocket than what he currently has but he says he couldn't work for someone else/do a 9-5 job, I said I was going to have to do things I didn't want to do too and tough.
Dinner tonight is leftover Quorn spag bol for myself and DS, DH is having a Tesco curry as he doesn't eat mince (even if it's not real.) I need to do an online order at some point today as stocks are running low.
I've not weighed myself since starting my diet 6 days ago but I should have lost some weight because I've been really good (I'm taking Al li and I'm terrified not to be good because of the side effects of cheating  ) I got two lovely Monsoon dresses from the charity shop at the weekend so if I'm still a size 18 by next Monday I at least have something nice to wear for the start of my two-week freelance stint and once I'm not I can ebay them
