  • well, I only ordered on 28th December 2012. One was a groupon voucher and one was a normal order (ie: no voucher - as it was for a text montage). I seemed to be getting regular updates on the orders but is stuck in print production mode now. I must admit I read about the poor service after I placed my orders and as its for a very special birthday present I became very nervous. Emails were not responded to and to top it all off I started worrying because of all the bad news stories on here and facebook.

    So I thought I would call them even though its still early days. I have just been on hold for 16 minutes! but finally got through to someone. A lovely lady called Hayley. She was extremely helpful and fingers crossed I should have my text montage (easier for them to get those sorted) by middle of next week. She also said she would email me when the photo one was ready for dispatch as she will put a note on my order for it to come via her before dispatch so she can update me. She also told me that she would email me this afternoon re the text montage and confirm despatch.

    I of course won't beleive it until I see it but the customer service when you get through is very helpful. I hope she does as she says she would.

    I did mention the negativity of the company on sites like this and facebook and they are fully aware.

    Well, just to keep you all updated. True to her word Hayley from You Frame did indeed send me an email that afternoon and said that both my canvases will be done in the next couple of days and should be with me next week. Fingers crossed !
  • I have now been given a tracking number for one of my orders which has been dispatched. Unfortunately the couriers website does not recognise the tracking number and its the worlds worst courier they use - DX couriers. Argggghh

    Another bad review, my canvas was despatched 33 working days after I placed the order, no notification of the delay, and no response to 2 emails asking to change the delivery address - as time went on, I realised that the address they would deliver to would have no-one there to receive it so wanted to change it. Attempted delivery at old address, no card left by courier, managed to locate via the online tracking and re-arrange delivery to arrive xmas eve.

    After carefully checking the proof of my heart shaped collage canvas, I was really looking forward to giving this as a xmas gift. But no, when I opened it, the quality was awful. The colouring was so bad, any dark/shadow areas were almost black and any light areas were white, with all the detail lost in both of these cases. The proof did not look like this, and I know it wasn't the files as I have printed every single photo I used for it in the past and they look fine. The quality is so awful, I would be ashamed to display the canvas in my home for people to see, no way could I pass it onto someone else to do so!

    I have contacted you-frame via email and their contact form on the website about this and heard nothing back. Such poor service, very disappointed.

    No response received from the company - despite me emailing Haley a couple of times. DX couriers tracking never shows. Well suprisingly :eek: a DX courier (a man in a clapped out car) arrived today with a parcel. It was one of my canvases. Its actually very nice but a bit miffed that you have to build the canvas. Maybe its my fault for not reading the small print.

    No response about the other canvas and its still stuck in "print production" - has been for nigh on 2 weeks now. Not sure when that one will ever turn up! I will be hassling them next week, as am getting peed off. Being a customer should never be this much hard work. I am also astonished that they have the gall to carry on putting out news feeds for their products on facebook.
  • I have received both of my canvases! Haley didn't respond to the chasing emails but someone must have been pushing the orders through.

    If anyone is waiting defo call, chase, nag! Good luck everyone. The finished product is good.
  • I really wish I had read the reviews for this company before I bought my Groupon voucher to purchase a christmas present for my son last October ! I ordered the "World" montage and when it came it had massive gaps in "USA and Canada" and did not look anything like the picture on their website. I conmtacted them who said it was a software error and they would send a reprint. I was then e-mailed to say my images had expired and could I upload them all again so another 3 hours was spent doing so but I did not receive the print despite e-mailing and trying to phone (constantly engaged!) I have spend the last two weeks trying to get somewhere with this , they are very rude and make false promises of compensation gifts. to cut a long and stressful story short I have just received the re-print nearly 3 months after the original order and it is worse than the one I was sent in the first place !!! My recommendation is not to touch this company with a barge pole and I am surprised they are still in business !!!!!

    The product I received was nothing like the product i ordered. When i complained by email i just was ignored. i sent a few emails still ignored. When i called they were told they could re-do my order but would have to pay a small fee plus postage again plus send in less photos (even so the original order said i could use more photos)! I was unhappy with having to pay more so i was given the managers email address to complain further and was again ignored. I emailed a few times again. Rang - but the manager was never in. So i wrote to them attaching all my emails - ignored again. Never use this company!!!
