I bought a canvas from the groupon youframe offer for £15 my voucher code didn't work and I tried emailing to get it reset but no joy. It expired whilst I was still trying to sort out. I contacted Groupon numerous times and they will offer me a £15 credit as a gesture of goodwill, which makes me really cross. What do I do.. take the credit? I have asked them 4 times for their official complaints procedure but no one can tell me. Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks0 -

They've made the classic mistake of trying to boost business by using something like groupon buit no being prepared for the inevitable mad rush of orders.
Groupon has been, and will be, the death of many small businesses when in fact it should be the opposite.0 -

It is a groupon error so don't take the credit, get the refund.
I love it when a company fails and offer a discount on the next purchase with them lol0 -

My goodness so many people in the same position as me....ordered 2 items from this company in July/August, one arrived, was awful and their response was tough we can replace if you pay £8.95 the 2nd still has not arrived and I am so concerned what this will be like, these were meant to be xmas presents, I couldnt give either as one was rubbish and the other didnt arrive, despite several emails (with no reply) and several phone calls to a lady called Mary supposedly fast tracking my order for xmas!!!! absoluely awful company stay clear unless you have 6 months to spare to wait for the order0

well, I only ordered on 28th December 2012. One was a groupon voucher and one was a normal order (ie: no voucher - as it was for a text montage). I seemed to be getting regular updates on the orders but is stuck in print production mode now. I must admit I read about the poor service after I placed my orders and as its for a very special birthday present I became very nervous. Emails were not responded to and to top it all off I started worrying because of all the bad news stories on here and facebook.
So I thought I would call them even though its still early days. I have just been on hold for 16 minutes! but finally got through to someone. A lovely lady called Hayley. She was extremely helpful and fingers crossed I should have my text montage (easier for them to get those sorted) by middle of next week. She also said she would email me when the photo one was ready for dispatch as she will put a note on my order for it to come via her before dispatch so she can update me. She also told me that she would email me this afternoon re the text montage and confirm despatch.
I of course won't beleive it until I see it but the customer service when you get through is very helpful. I hope she does as she says she would.
I did mention the negativity of the company on sites like this and facebook and they are fully aware.
Will keep you all updated!0 -
It took me ages to get my canvas print from this company, countless e-mails and eventually I managed to speak to someone on the phone who sorted out my order. She basically said after 3 months of me receiving nothing my order hadnt been released to be processed for no reason at all.
They also printed a completly different picture on the canvas to the one I had finally agreed to be printed but I really didnt think I would get much of a response back about this so I just cut my losses.
I will not be using this company in future - Photobox are much better even if they are more expensive!
Also they do lots of deals on Groupon so try to avoid if possible!0 -
Hi,
I have read a lot of negative posts on the Internet regarding YouFrame and, in particular, in relation to a Groupon canvas print offer and thought I would share my own personal experience.
I purchased a Groupon offer for a YouFrame canvas print and processed my order for a large (30' x 30') canvas montage print (with frame) on 4th November 2012. I knew that making an order following an advertised Groupon offer, coupled with the lead-up to Christmas, was going to be a busy period and that my order would most likely take longer than the advertised despatch times. That having been said, I was slightly nervous when I read lots of negative Internet posts where people were recalling their bad experience of these offers.
My order was marked as "shipped" on 7th December 2012 (pretty much at the end of the advertised 21-day period). All well up until that point. Unfortunately, Christmas came and went and no sign of my order. Gulp! Looks like there was some truth to the Internet stories.
With Christmas, I forgot all about it, but on Thursday 3rd January 2013, I received an email from YouFrame informing me that my parcel had been returned by the courier as the courier could not gain access at the time of delivery. That was not too surprising as my property is situated in a private gated development.
I called the YouFrame number the following afternoon (Friday 4th January 2013). I had to redial a few times as it was engaged, before it was picked up by an automated answering system that kept me on-hold for about 10-15mins waiting for an available operator before it was finally answered by an operator. The person who answered could not have been more helpful. In fact, so pleasant and cheery was this particular operator, that it cheered me up no end! I made arrangements for re-delivery and she said she would try and catch the courier that afternoon so I would get it sooner!
A few days later not only did my canvas print (and frame) arrive - but an extra one altogether!! Namely, an identical 30' x 30' canvas print and frame! What a bonus!
On the whole, I am very pleased and will certainly be looking to make future orders. :j
Happy New Year to you all!
Martin
