YouFrame.com - rude

Options
I have to vent my anger at this company for its rudeness and the way it deals with queries.
I ordered a canvas print on the 18th April but a yet to recieve it. I sent a couple of emails (after finding the correct one on their site) to ask the status of my order. I got a very rude, sarcastic response:

Hi

This is due to be dispatched next week

It does say on the website to allow 10 working days for production, and up to 21 working days in peak times, I think 4 bank holidays in a row counts as peak time!”

Thanks

I will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible, please do not send multiple emails

Needless to say I was pretty annoyed with this as I was simply asking for an order status. I was going to ring the company direct but they do not have a phone number. I don't count bank holidays for this company as 'peak times'. I would say Christmas as a peak time. Does anyone else think this is a rubbish way to communicate with customers?

Thanks for any replies :)

the tone of the email could be read as a little rude, although I wouldn't say it has deliberately been worded that way.

If my calculations are correct then by placing an order on the 18th april, today is only the 10th working day after that (maybe 11), even if you dont see bank holidays as "peak" times, they still aren't working days.

My reading into the reply is that you wasn't the first to send such a query and the replier was getting a little frustrated with people not taking the bank holidays into account and allowed that frustration to show through into the reply sent.

Personally, I find it slightly abrupt but to the point and neither rude or sarcastic.

I suppose it all depends on the person reading it. :A

i don't think it's 'very rude', more misjudged. i also think they give an outside time of 21 working days and you must have sent emails before it was even 10.... i think they phrased their reply badly, but that your expectations of delivery are also a little out.

I guess so. But in all fairness she could have phrased it a little better. She fast tracked my order after I replied so result I guess.

Basically, people write emails, and sometimes people have bad days. I'm guessing this was one of hers. I'd probably not use the company again, simply because exclamation marks are naff!

A disgusting email, OP get in touch with trading standards and let us close them down with a venem.

We cannot allow customers to wait longer then they need in these days, the internet works 24/7, so should these compaines. If they cannot be bothered, I will take my work to some sweatshop where they will be proud for the privillege to do so.

Oh and always when you write an email, and if it is a little bossy. Just go and have a cup of tea, if you are a girlie, then have some chocolate. Then REREAD afore sending said bossy email.

yes, i have emailed them also and so far, no reply. I bought five vouchers through Groupon. All were presents, and so far of the five, I have missed TWO birthdays, one housewarming present!! I am very disappointed and a bit embarrassed at the very late birthday presents. I am also disappointed in Groupon for advertising them when they are clearly a terrible company in both terms of their product reliabilty and their appalling customer service. As I live in Leeds, I might actually drive over there and see what they are doing! Since they can't be bothered to reply, it might be worth seeing if they actually are real! Has anyone actually received what they ordered?
