    Debt-free and Proud!
I had to have a tooth out and I had to have OH holding my hand al the way through

So glad it wasn't just me! Although to be honest his "wow, that's a big clamp!" and "haha you're drooling!" comments weren't actually that helpful... ;)

I'm going to speak with the GP on Tues and see what she says but if she's still set on TTC for a while before we start medication then I'll definitely start on the fenugreek. Can't do any harm!
if your OH is deployed-who knows, by the time he comes back, you could be all ready to rock & roll!!

After 4 months I'll definitely be ready to rock and roll! Someone just needs to tell my ovaries... :rotfl:

I'm going to start TTC in October so you can add me to the front page :)
The lass who does that first page is off on honeymoon afaik, so methinks you'll have to wait for her return :)

Really good point about discussing with OH what he does and doesn't want to know. Don't want to give him any performance issues because he feels like he's under too much pressure! All of the Dads he knows seem to think it was really easy to concieve, one of his friends said, 'I just sneezed and she fell pregnant' but I'm sure that if I spoke to his wife she'd tell me how it had been a little more complicated than that! :rotfl:
    :rotfl: I daresay!

I have a mate that's got a 5month old and "fell" twice "accidentally" within a year, and then when actually "trying" fell straight away, only DTD twice on Ov day. She keeps going on about how her fella is a one shot wonder and 'you just need to walk past him and he gets you preg' and all this. It makes me want to punch them both!! :o

Good luck DD, I hope the GP has something helpful as a plan of action. I forget what the blood test was though tbh... are they suspecting PCOS or something?

I love reading those threads about what you do and don't need for your baby, I like to think that I take it all in and I'll be very sensible but I just know that I'll probably get sucked into all of the gimmicks when it's time to go shopping! A lot of it is very useful adice though, like not getting a changing table, just using a mat on the floor and buying a cot bed that'll last years. I think my problem is going to be my mother, you girls might want to get shares in John Lewis now because as soon as I announce that I'm pregnant my Mum will buy out the entire baby section! :rotfl:

I had a scary/exciting thought last night, we have friends getting married next August and if we're the super lucky annoying types who blink and get pregnant we could be bringing a tiny new baby to the wedding! I hope to be at least a little bit pregnant by then... either way it looks like I'll be the only sober one there! ;)

:rotfl::rotfl:to the John Lewis shares-we were given quite alot of JL vouchers for our wedding and a big part of me wants to save them all to buy baby things :o DH wants to buy a hammock instead though :rotfl:.
I had a lovely moment last night, DH (who is known as Hoppy to his friends) was talking about something and said "when we have a couple of little Hopsters running around" aww-it made my heart melt!!

    Hi

Hope you are all well :)

I took my last pill in May, and my last pill free day (when I should have started a new pack the day after) was 2nd June. I stopped taking the pill and am currently waiting with bated breath to see what my cycle is going to do! I have tried fertility friends etc but don't feel I can really do anything yet until I have had my first "real" cycle as there is no point dating against my pill date!

Anyway, from 2nd June, it is now 16th June and for most of Tuesday I was quite down and unexplicably tearful and yesterday I had THE most intense stomach cramps for a few hours. I told myself from the start that I was not going to symptom search but am I really being far too optimistic to think it might be ovulation???

As I said earlier I went on the pill relatively young for pain problems rather than contraception and I do have a vague recollection of fainting around ovulation time.

I suppose I will have to wait until it is "Normal" time for AF and see what happens. It is on OH stag weekend so as strange as it sounds to hope for, hopefully I will be sat with a hot water bottle feeling sorry for myself :D

Hope you are all well. I have been without a job for a little while now and this week is the first time I am feeling a bit at a loose end with nothing to do! I finished about 4 weeks ago so I suppose I've done pretty well!!

Just thought i'd say hello after having a lurk on this thread for a while.

Me and my husband were hoping to start trying for a baby after our holiday at Easter but unfortunatley I was in a nasty accident in the shower, smashing my teeth in on a granite work top so priorities have changed! The trauma of the accident also stopped my periods but after some time off work I'm glad to say they have returned this morning. I'm left quite amazed at how much stress can effect your body.

Got a long road ahead to fix my teeth and lip but still looking forward to starting to TTC.

Its so nice to read about other people in the same place as you. :T

Why is it that as soon as you start wanting a baby everyone seems to have one! Had a day out with OH and couldn't move for pregnant ladies and prams... I want one! :)
