Miss Bolan - poor you
I can emphasise with how you are feeling today. It's rubbish when all you want to do is lock yourself in the bathroom and have a good cry it's worse when you have to pretend to be fine and put on a front. Sounds like when you get home you need to have a good bath and either watch a dvd, read a book or chat to other half.
Browneyedbazzi - Glad that things are getting sorted with job and moving. I do agree that it does take your mind off babies. Once you have moved you can have the excitement of getting used to the area.
Sorry for not catching up on everyone's posts lately.
I did buy some maternity clothes from Next (silly I know!) Haven't told OH and not opened one of the packages that came yesterday will try and find a bottom draw to store them until it happens one day!!
I have also been to the doc's this week about digestive system as it has been getting me down lately. I am going for blood test next week to be tested for IBS and Coeliac so we will see what happens, in terms of another issue I have been told that I have to wait until I have had children before they can sort it out, I kind of said well I am not pregnant! I understand where they are coming from but doesn't help the current situ. Oh well will just carry on.
Have been really busy writing my do list for the wedding and trying to tackle a task each day, although I seem to have an addiction for Hobbycraft and buying stuff there, I have set myself new hobbies next year I am going to take up sewing which will hopefully take my mind off things if it takes a while to conceive.
Anyway hope everyone has a nice relaxing evening, and hugs to need them.0 -
evening everyone - I am feeling a little less emotional now and had a bit of time to look through the last few posts!
wickedwitch- it's good to have a plan of when you want baby to arrive, baby and nature of course may have other ideas when it's your time :rotfl:
bride2be - you'd best get busy pretty quick if you are planning on making and having a baby before September! (by my calculations it gives you about 6 weeks to conceive?!) worth a try though :j
lushlifesaver - what sport does your OH do? When you say get tax credits sorted, do you mean before or after baby? Because you know with universal credit coming in predicting what you'll get after october 2013 is almost impossible (trust me I have tried!)
browneyedbazzzi - congrats on finding somewhere, now for the joy of packing and unpacking boxes!
daisiegg - for what it's worth, i think men are completely clueless when it comes to how women feel once their bilogical clocks start ticking! My husband is busy and preoccupied and I know that he does see us having babies 'one day', for him he is happy for this to be a vague date in the 'future'. He doesn't understand that I need to have a more definate plan than that. And if he is having one of his more preoccupied days me talking about babies must just sound like 'blah, blah, blah' to him! I don't think they really can understand how it feels to WANT to be pregnant and have babies so much it's pretty much all you think about 23 1/2 hours a day! Try talking to him when he is in a different mood/frame of mind?
welsh comic - good luck with the NTNP! and with house hunting.
bondy24- thank you :-) I am feeling a bit better. No time to sit and relax after work today as Wednesday night is a kids night (as in my step kids) so it's been dinner, homework, baths and bed! And now I am sitting down to relax... hubbies making me a cuppa and I am watching masterchef.
Hobbycraft is amazing! I am glad there is not one near me because I'd spend a fortune! I do sewing as a hobby, i find it quite theraputic. I am currently making stockings for all my millions of nieces and nephews
I hope everyone else is doing ok, have a good evening!
Trying to be good and watch the pennies, but guilty of falling off the wagon every so often!

hi everyone hope you are all well, hugs to those that need want one, myself and my partner will also be NTNP once all the debt is paid. less than 15 weeks to go if i keep on track!! i have been trying to pre-occupy myself with stuff i want to get done around the home before a 'baby' comes along.. as well as avoiding Facebook as much as possible! but family members are also pregnant/just given birth ... including one born today and one 6 weeks ago 1 due early next year, another family member already trying after giving birth 6 weeks ago that's just off the top of my head! as well as half of my Facebook! it wouldn't be as bad but i've wanted another child for nearly 3 years and DP only came round to the idea earlier this year, i didn't think i would be able to ever have children due to health reasons and after i had my son myself and DP decided we wouldn't want him to he an only child, (personal choice nothing against it... just if we had a choice we would want 1 more so LO has a sibling) hopefully when i do eventually fall pregnant everything will go well, i know the risks im taking and have weighted it all up. i had 1 depo injection last June and still have really irregular periods currently 14 days late, so hoping this will regulate before we start NTNP .... i've previously been 7 weeks late in the past. last month i was 12 days late... i was as regular as clockwork before i had that jab!!!!
sorry needed to vent .... anyway on wards and upwards ... really hoping it wont take to long to catch as im already starting to worry about the age gap there could be.... its going to be at least a 5 year age gap ! anyone have experience with that sort of age gap? i always preferred the idea of smaller age gaps around 2-3 years xxx200 weeks £25,000.00 / £7000 -
Evening ladies!
Been absent for a while, had a lovely week away but now it's back to reality
Came off the pill 5 weeks ago now, AF was due last week but still no sign ( done a couple of tests as there were a few "mishaps" in between but both were BFN ), really hope that I don't have to wait ages for it to show up, so broody at the moment but know it's best to wait until you get your first "normal" AF after coming off the pill before TTC. Ordered a batch of pregnancy tests from amazon in anticipation of when we can start trying lol
Have read through the last few pages to catch up on how everyones doing but a bit rushed to reply, so hugs for anyone that needs them xxNew House... New Mortgage! February 2017: £144,000

Hi all, just a quick check in on my lunch hour. Hugs to all those that need them, will try and do a proper catch up later on.
Not a lot doing here, still unpacking boxes from the move (managed to find my hair straighteners this morning, happy days! :j).
First ovulation due this week since we moved to NTNP, so we will see what happens lol...would love to fall pregnant as this will be our only month to conceive to have a baby before SIL's wedding next year, desperately trying not to get my hopes up but that sooooo isn't happening.:cool:0 -

He plays wheelchair rugby - not one of the well known sports but it's a good one, if a little dangerous! The tax credits are a pre-baby thing - everything to do with money just makes my head hurt atm with finding a new job etc but it's got to be done.
Bf's brother's girlfriend is in hospital now as she has developed a bloodclot. I really feel for her as she's had no time with the newborn - now named layla-may -but they let the baby stay at the hospital with her last night.
Kind of depressing now thought that bf's mum is now at the lass's beck and call. They've never got on or liked each other but now she's given her a granddaughter she doesn't really talk to meI'mm sure it will settle down again but for now I'm on my own whilst bf is away and now I don't even have the option to go and see his parents
ah well

Evening all!
AF has finally showed up today almost 2 weeks late so hopefully that should mean we can start our TTC journey in about a week :j:j
My cousin has recently announced to the family she's going to start TTC soon as well, though I think we might be starting before her so we could be pregnant at the same time. Obviously I've not announced to the entire family we're going to be TTC though, the only other person that knows is my sister. Really starting to get excited about it all now, it's always been planning for when we can start, now we are actually in the position to start a family and I honestly can't wait.
lushlifesaver - I hope your bf's sister is ok, must be so hard on her.
bride2be2012 - I know what you mean, I was secretly hoping I might be pregnant too with me being late but obviously wasn't meant to be. I hope you are more lucky!New House... New Mortgage! February 2017: £144,000

She's out of hospital now and back to her usual, slightly less than pleasant self. Luckily I seem to be making progress on the job front so hopefully we will soon be yet another step closer to it being our turn!************************************
