Hi all
Well, we're all moved into new house now, sooo glad to have a bit more room!
Had lovely chat with DH over the weekend, and we are back to NTNP :j
AF due this week, pretty sure she'll show as have had a few cramps already. Would love it if we were to conceive before the end of the year, as SIL is getting married next September and I want to be able to have a drink at the wedding lol! After a pretty busy few weeks socially, I'm going to be cutting down on drink in case I do fall pregnant pretty quickly. And have started taking folic acid supplement too - which I'll have to hide from the bathroom shelf when my mum comes to see the new house tomorrow lol, don't want her thinking she's going to be a granny quite yet!0 -
saw folic acid on offer- 120 tablets in asda tonight for £1- on special offer. was near where all the vitamins are- so have a look if you havent got anyIs a married woman!! 23rd July 2011 Best day of my life!

Hi all, have been lurking for a little while.
Well bf's brother and his lass had their baby, a girl as I predicted. She's a quiet one and cute-ish - but I have to say that (she's lovely looking with a sea of dark hair but facially she's not as cute as most newborns, well that's mine and bfs opinion!).
We need to get our tax credits sorted and look to be getting me a permanent job before my new temporary contract ends in March. If I'm right I would be entitled to Mat Allowance after the temporary work but I don't think that's reliable info so would rather have the security of another job to be in until Mat leave!
Saving is going well although next year we have now got a lot of European/international tournaments which bf will be playing in so we will have to contribute to his costs and I would like to go to a couple so that's another couple of hundred pounds! Ah the life of an athlete and their wag :P
Hope everyone is well************************************

Morning all, I've been lurking for a while too...it's been a busy couple of weeks tying up all the loose ends at my current job, preparing to start at the new place and looking for somewhere to live. I haven't had time or energy to be broody or even think about TTC! Thankfully we've found a place to rent in our ideal area (it took a lot of stressful negotiation and waiting but thankfully it's all confirmed now). I'm really looking forward to being there and to properly settle down in an area - I've moved around quite a bit for work over the past few years but the new place is the area we are hoping to buy in and that feels really good!
lushlifesaver - I can sympathise with the life of a wag because my OH is an athlete as well and I often end up part of the 'support team'. My next 'holiday' is going away for a half-marathon and some altitude training...when I'd really like to be on a beach somewhere!Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -

Story of my life! Alkthough I love sitting on the bench and doing some of the mechanic work - no one ever expects me to be able to do it! I'd love to go to some on the countries just for a break though, he's off to Prague for a week on Monday with GB and I'm so jealous!************************************

Hi all, been a while since I posted, I think I sometimes miss this thread when it pops up to the front page
Feeling really down about all this at the moment. I am SO broody at the moment and dream about being pregnant and having babies most nights. But OH has gone really weird about it
There were a couple of weird comments over the weekend. We were watching TV and there was a cute baby or something, and I said something like 'we will have one of those one day!' (It's not unusual for one of us to say that sort of thing and he usually responds positively) but he said 'maybe...' I asked what he meant and he just said 'stop putting pressure on me!' That is completely new as we have always both been in agreement we want children together - otherwise I wouldn't be marrying him!
Then it got brought up again on Saturday night, but stupidly I can't remember the whole conversation as we were drinking wine (probably not the right time to discuss it!) but I think he was saying he's not sure anymore about starting to try next September. But I'm not absolutely sure exactly what was said! I don't want to bring it up and ask him again as I don't want to be 'putting pressure on him'we're getting married in April and have very explicitly discussed having children and agreed we both want to do it a year or so after the wedding, so I didn't think there was any issue of 'pressure'! Aaaaaaaarrrggghhhhhhh

*Hugs* for you daisiegg, that must be really confusing and frustrating! Perhaps he's just feeling a bit stressed at the moment? We've talked about wobbles before on this thread and I do think it's normal to have a wobble or two when thinking about such big life-changing things.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0

Well the side effects of coming off the implant took about 2 weeks to clear... thank god!!! Have been very broody lately, went to see my friends 3 mth old which didnt help. It appears that we have moved on to NTNP, which came as a bit of a shock but serectly happy with!!! At my age dont think I can wait for the 'Right Time'!!!
Was very funny up the pub last week, some friends of the OH were there who he hadnt seen in a while, they asked him if we were getting married, you could see his face go white and go quiet... whenever the word is mentioned he goes like that.... I love dropping it in conversation up the pub with his friends, they all know how he will react! Very funny!
They asked about kids, he said no problem having more kids!!! he has always been like this, so am quite happy about it!!!
With the cold weather at the mo he has been working 13 hour days and saturdays... so have not seen him much!!! When we do get up the pub he says we need to get looking at houses.... and I keep telling he hasnt got time to look!!!! He said that 6 mths ago and have not been to see any houses since then!!! Very frustrating, we need move as he is self employed and all his c**p is in the house and we couldnt squeeze another kid in!!!!0 -

and now I get to go and speak to the public for 4 hours!! Deep breath...Trying to be good and watch the pennies, but guilty of falling off the wagon every so often!
