Don't worry optimistic mummy, I'll be here for a while yet. OH driving me mad, just when I thought we were on same wavelength with NTNP, he throws me a curveball last night...why are men so confusing!
Last time we had a chat about it, we agreed not to use any contraception or use withdrawl and just wait and see what happens. So last night, post BD, I jokingly say we might have just made a baby and he starts freaking out, saying (again) not right time financially, am I ovulating, is there any chance I might get PG just now. Then once he calms down says that I'll make a fab mum...why does he have to be so awkward!
Humph...think I am going to ask him tonight if he wants to start using contraception again (and that'll mean condoms as I don't want to go back on the pill again, I have felt better about my cycles than I have done in years since stopping 4 months ago).
Anyhow, he needn't worry just now, have a bit of a sore tummy so think AF is on her way, just in time for the weekend, oh joy!
Hope everyone has a good weekend - we have MIL visiting tomorrow (more joy!), then pizza and wine/beer night for the Xfactor final (well, got to make the most of not being PG!)0 -
my partner was the same, so he is using condoms and has been for the last few months. untill the debt is gone!!! then we are going to start NTNP he promises he wont back down from his word and as soon as the debts gone we will be NTNP but i can't help but worry that he will change his mind, i hope not as he knows how much this means too me. men are so confusing though ..... glad im not the only one on the thread .... but i do feel sorry for you B2B with your partner 'messing you around' ((hugs)) xxx200 weeks £25,000.00 / £7000

Didn't get a chance to talk to DH properly over weekend. He upset me yesterday though, wanted to sell our lovely family sized estate car for a smaller car! Put him straight on that one...bless him, he was only thinking about it to get something cheaper to run - not that current car is a gas guzzler anyway, but think he just had his man head on lol!
Bit confused here, had period type pain on Fri and Sat, but its now gone. Was a moody moo on Fri and Sat and v emotional all weekend (see above re car, was in tears!). And still no AF, thought she'd arrive on Sun. Resisting temptation to use the one pregnancy test I have at home...will test before weekend tho if she's not shown up as have a night out on Fri and will want to know if I can have a drink or not!0 -

well gave in and tested but it was a BFN...not surprised but still no sign of AF. I've only been of the pill for 4 months (after almost 9 years on it) so I suppose it'll take some time for my cycles to get back to normal.
Spoke to DH earlier, and all is good againHe's just worried that if we get pregnant before we manage to buy a house, we will never be able to afford a house...but he is quite happy to continue NTNP in the meantime.
