This! I am on a hardcore diet to shift some weight before my next FS (fertility specialist) appointment and since replacing coke with water I have been uber wet. I wondered whether or not my suspected chemical last cycle was going to make me ovulate earlier, but after reading this I'm thinking it's more likely that I am just more hydrated14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

What diet are you following Lilymay? Just curious because my weightloss is starting to slow down and I still have a whole stone to lose!!! I do exercise everyday, so I'm toning up. But my weight seems to have plateaued0 -
Think of it as a warm up for when you join the TTC thread.
Nothing is TMI over there I tell you!!!
Thank you amus...I read the other thread so I know a bit of what it's like!
I'm not sure if I'll join over there. I feel quite comfortable on this thread and it keeps me sane, but I think when I go from waiting to actually trying I'll want to be as relaxed as possible about it (for as long as possible). I'm not really keen on all the POAS, counting down to testing and analysing ever symptom etc because I think it would drive me a little crazy lol. I may change my mind when the time comes but I think I'll stay away for a few months at least.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -

Hi COMP!
No worries. Things are busy for us all right now.
One of my closest friends has just updated me on the results of some recent tests she had (there is a cancer gene in her family). Unfortunately, 4 out of the 5 growths they found and removed during the test, are cancerous.Luckily, as they caught and removed them early enough she doesn't need any further treatment right now, but will have to have much more frequent tests/checkups, lose a lot of weight and quit smoking.
Sad timesI just want something to go right for a change.

What about inch loss? It's possible to lose inches (fat), but stay the same weight, or even gain, due to muscle gain from exercise. Muscle is denser than fat, so the same lb of muscle takes up considerably less room in your body than fat does.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

I know you're not! There are a lot of really lovely ladies on the thread...but I think the ones who are a really focused (obsessive?) about it all would stress me out a bit. I'd be a bit afraid of being drawn towards being that way myself.
Euro - sorry to hear about your friend, but I'm glad they caught it in time!
As for me, I heard today that I've got an interview for the job I applied for last week. I need to go try on my suits and hope one of them fits and looks good still! Fingers crossed!Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -

You can tell you've not been TTC for long
Ellie - I'm following the "don't eat !!!! and do lots of exercise diet' lol:rotfl:. I'm just making a real effort to exercise and limiting my calorie intake to about 1000 calories a day. As bad as it sounds, crash dieting works for me and I keep the weight off....it's just pregnancy that makes me fat again! :rotfl::rotfl:14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130
