You're quite right Bazzi, surprise is much more accurate than accident, although perhaps 'sort-of-planned-but-a-little-ahead-of-schedule' would be the most accurate.
I'm very excited but think I still mostly belong here as we're not really 'trying' til April, and even then things may well be a little complicated with the various health issues... oh well, just more time to prepare and spent time with little nephew

Hello All!
Sorry for being MIA, but things have been a bit manic here.
Anyway, I wanted to update you a bit:
- Job situ with OH still not sorted. OH now off work with stress
- Money situ improved - credit cleared with loan from OH
- The plan is to move back to the UK, but we are waiting on OH's work to sort out the job side of things
Also, I started exercising regularly (just completed 30 Day Shred) & eating more healthily. I have lost quite a few inches (so am back into *most* of my size 10 clothes) and my posture has improved greatly. I gave up soda completely (coming close to 2 months without it now) and have been trying to eat 'clean' as often as possible. This involves making meals from scratch, so there are no additives, added sugars, salts etc.
The difference in me has been amazing. I have more energy, my mood is uplifted and I've also noticed a difference in my cycle.
Now, with my cycle, it could just be conincidence as it's only been 2 months so far, but here is what I noticed:
- Cycle length reduced (may was 34 days, but June was only 29 and July only 27)
- More EWCM during ovulation time
- Less spots during ovulation, and before period
- Far, far, far less emotional
- No cramps before hand
- Cramps during are far less (I only had one paracetemol yesterday on CD1, and not needed any today - usually, I would need paracetemol, ibuprofen and a hot water bottle)
- Sore boobs for only one day before period, instead of from ovulation onwards
- Length of period shortened to around 4 days
- No spotting for days before or after
All in all, the last couple of cycles have been far better than usual. I hope this continues. ANd if it is down to cutting out additives etc from my diet, then that is quite shocking how much they effect us!!
OK, gonna try and catch up on the thread now.
HUGS to all who need them!

money being the big thing (isn't it always?) and I'm starting a new job in January so need to be there a while before trying, and I also need to get to a healthy weight and lots of other things
I don't want to wait that long! But, need to be sensible I guess
thanks for the hugs x
Sorry to hear this slowlyfading. Having had to wear the sensible hate for a couple of years, I understand how frustrating and painful it can be at times. ((HUGS))
It will all be worth it in the end when we are able to give our babies the best possible start in life, and best possible home (both with our bodies, and with our homes).

Good to see you back euronorris!
All the changes that you have experienced since changing your diet are really interesting. I cook most of my meals from scratch and have done for some time (I grew up in a house where everything was done from scratch too) and I think it makes a big difference too. No idea about it affecting cycles because I've been on hormonal contraception for an eternity but I do think it has a big impact on mood and energy levels.
I'm sorry to hear that your OH's job situation still isn't sorted out - it must be so frustrating to be being held back by something you have little or no control over!Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -

That's an understatement! But, tbh, he is now so stressed out over the whole thing that I am worried about him and fighting the urge to show up at his work and verbally tear his employers a new one.
I'm also ready to set the lawyers on them! OH isn't quite there yet though (but we have obtained some basic information/confirmations from them just to ensure that our understanding of the legal viewpoint is correct).February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Hello Ladies!
Wooo for early trying Amy! Here's for a 'surprise'!
Hi Euro - sorry to hear about your OH's job; it's frustrating for you I imagine seeing him suffer yet not really being a position to do much about it; I feel for youBUT wow on your eating plan/diet! That sounds amazing; what a difference it must make cutting out additives . I have to say I do a lot of cooking from scratch too and always notice if I have a bad week eating wise because of my skin, energy levels etc......
Well I have a nice day off today so am watching the olympics. Actually going to the men's 1/4 finals footy tomorrow which I am really looking forward too. Ok, it's Egypt and Japan but still I have never ever been to a live football match in my life so to see my first one at Old Trafford and being an Olympic 1/4 final is quite
Just got the sailing on atm but they keep talking about 'bad wind' and 'dirty air' :undecided sounds a bit grim to me :rotfl:although the commentator just mentioned where Ben Ainslie is from and its my home town so more reason to be rooting for him!
Hope everyone is well and not too broodyxx
