Those who are waiting to TTC

Hello Ladies,
Well been a busy couple of weeks here! Last weekend was our 1st wedding anniversary and DH took me up London to stay in a hotel, went for a beautiful French meal and visited the Tower of London. This weekend, we had a wedding on Friday which was lovely and I got teary, then last night was my SIL2Bs hen night which was a real good laugh.
However, DH totally messed with my head on anniversary weekend saying he didn't care about a van and that he just wants to start a family with me. Now I don't know what to do - we both know we should be sensible and wait at least a year but we both yearn to have a baby together so badly. We would manage financially but it would mean staying in our flat a while. So confused!
Browneyedbazzi, glad you got things sorted and are feeling more positive. Became Mrs W in 2011:smileyhea Blessed with Baby boy 1 in 2013, Baby boy 2 in 2016 and Baby boy 3 in 2018 :smileyheaDebt @ 19/8/11 [STRIKE]£20,060 [/STRIKE] current £0Paid off 100% :dance:0 -

I know what you mean walby. It's so hard to wait and be sensible when you want a baby so badly. To make matters worse, one of my close friends has just told me she is expecting. She's the first close friend to get pregnant and they've made no plans financially or anything. Kind of makes you think well why are we waiting? Still going to wait until we have a house though!

Exactly how I'm feeling... there seems to be something in the water round here at the moment, seems like every other person I meet is pregnant! Another of my sisters is having her 12 week scan next week - absolutely delighted for her of course, but it's going to make me soooo broody all over again once there's another little one in the family0 -
Hi folks, hope everyone is well and looking forward to the weekend! I saw my doctor today and it was confirmed that I don't have PKD as my scans and bloods all came back ok :j
We're off to visit some friends with little ones this weekend..and now I can feel free to feel broody without all the anxiety/fear etcCommon sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
Great news browneyedbazzi

Someone DH works with gave us some advice - 'don't put it off until you can afford it, as that will never happen. You will manage, people always do'0 -
Good morning all.
I borrowed a pre-conception book from the library, lots of useful bits in it like dietary / supplement advice, how to prepare 6/3/1 months in advance of TTC in order to look after yourself / promote conception!
It's daft - but I wanted to do something, and it's far too early to buy any real baby books!!
In other news: it's almost the weekend!!0 -
Good morning and happy friday :j
andthethreebears - that sounds like an interesting book. What are your favourite tips from it so far? What's the book called?Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -

Thanks TamVilla80, I think we'll just get a house big enough for some extra bodies and then start trying otherwise I think we'll be waiting forever for a day that will never come!
