Zumba is GREAT fun!!!! I'd love to try pole dancing but too many body issues I'd never have the confidence.
Hope you feel better soon xDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

It's better than it was this morning, but still not great. Am super tired though, so probably just need a good night's sleep.
xx
i love zumba...i've got 2 left feet and dance like Mr Bean but it doesn't matter, it's a good laugh! :j i'm not sure i'd have the confidence for pole dancing either lol xx0 -
It looks like great fun, and a good workout. Plus, I thought OH would love it (turns out he's not so keen on the idea - pole dancing is for other women, not his partner apparantly! Who knew?!).
But.....I have images of me trying to jump onto the pole gracefully, and just smacking my face against it instead, breaking a nose! hahahaFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
B* gger! My hopes of this bug going quickly, disappeared at about 3.30am when I woke with a fever of 38.5! Managed to get it down a bit, but now have an upset tummy and feeling very, very sick. Managed to get to work, but am going back home again soon. Just as soon as I can face getting on the train & metro again! (why do they put the heating on now??? Where was it when it was freezing?!)February wins: Theatre tickets0

Hi everyone, I've not posted in a while (but have been lurking to keep up with you all lol!) - been busy as being made redundant in 2 weeks and getting married in 10 weeks!
Unfortunately, our TTC date has been pushed back due to my impending redundancy, as it's going to take us longer to clear our debts. But OH is much more on board these days which is good! Previously, having kids was always 'in the future, once we get married, once we've cleared our debts, once we buy a house' etc etc.
But I've just applied for a job in Mammas and Pappas, and first thing he said was 'staff discount will come in handy!'. And we had thought about selling our estate car, but he says he doesn't want to now as it'll be good size for putting pram/buggy in! Love it when he thinks about the future like this!! Just need to get a job now...0 -
HELLO! I'm back!
I was back earlier this week, but am still catching up. Man, that was a nasty bug. Had a small, but very embarrassing, 'accident' on the way home from work last WednesdayStill, it's all over with now, and on the plus side.....I lost of all the weight I gained whilst in the UK!
Sorry to hear about the redundancy B2B, and about having to put your TTC date back. Here's hoping you get a nice payout, and a great new job asap!
Nothing much doing here. Had a rather odd period, but with my stress and then the illness, I'm not really surprised.
Rather than focusing on OH's work situation, or mine, I am going to focus on something positive - the Supernatural convention in May. It's only 2 months away now!!! YAY! So many fit stars to meet. *contented sigh*. And, and, I've just seen that Felicia Day (from online webseries The Guild) will be starring in an episode of Supernatural this season!!YAY!
OK, geekiness over......for now!
How are you all? Big HUGS to all who need them.

*raises hand* Another Waiting to Try member here!
Me and the other half are desperate for kids and to start trying but it's just not practical at the moment. We have however agreed to look at the situation in 6 months time, and am enjoying the 'practice' at the moment. Lol
But god every baby I see I want to be MINE!!0 -
Hi, I hope all you other wtt-ers are keeping well?
Let me be the first to admit that I need a good slap around the chops, but I have to get these few idiotic thoughts out of my head!
Lots of 'accidental' pregnancies happening to friends / colleagues.
As someone who has successfully used contraception for *mumbles* years - this always makes me a bit upset.
Does that fact that I've never had a scare / accident mean that I will have trouble when it comes to TTC?
I'm friends with a couple who are long term TTC, 2years plus.
This also scares me - what if it takes us that long? It feels like a waste of time WTT when you don't know how long it could take!
People who are far less financially stable getting pregnant, why are we waiting to pay £xxx off mortgage or to have £xxx saved, when people can/do do it on nothing!
Eurgh.
Sorry - just a vent! I hope everyone else is at least 75% less frustrated about wwt than I feel at the moment!0 -
Threebears - I sympathise! I guess you just need to remember that be being in a stable position before kids you are giving them te best chance of a good childhood. No one knows how long the ttc process will be, I guess we just all start when we feel 'ready' and hopefully only ever get more ready as time goes by.
The main blockade to us ttc is my OH has kidney failure and is on dialysis. However his kidney transplant is tomorrow!!! After 20 months of waiting I can only hope that's it's successful and life can move on0
