He's quite relaxed about the whole process but that's how he is in general.

But I'm the organised one in the relationship. I've been researching the process, the chances it will work etc and becoming a little more stressed about it. I can understand why he got the vasectomy done (previous marriage failing, already had 2 kids) but I really wish he hadnt gone through with it.

I'm young and healthy and I wish we could just try to conceive naturally without having to go through this process. Researching and udnerstanding every aspect to it is sort of my way of coping.

But then he's a great guy and I wouldnt trade him for anyone so I suppose I shouldnt complain.

I had this issue in a previous relationship. My advice is to talk to him, and do it asap. The sooner its done the greater chance of success (how long ago was it done?). Also, once its done you know that he is serious about more kids with you. From my experience 'laid back' could be a cover for not really wanting more but not wanting to upset you. I hope thats not the case but you may as well know now rather than later!

Hey ho, thought I might come out of lurking to join this thread, if that's okay? Getting married in May and my h2b is anxious to start ttc once the wedding is out of the way. Me, I feel a bit freaked out by the whole idea tbh, i think after spending so long trying to avoid getting pregnant I am finding the idea a bit scary. I guess we are lucky in that we both have good incomes and no debts so probably from a fiancial perspective as ready as we will ever be. Is it weird that I am freaked out by the whole idea? I am turning 30 soon so I think that is partly what is freaking me out!

How did the op go Euro? :)

    Very well thank you :D

Didn't take long, no sick feeling, so I was home before 4pm :) (I had McDonald's on way back too! :rotfl:).

Recovery has been good too. Not a lot of pain at all. More frustrated that I can't bend it still. Not allowed for another 3 weeks! :(

Been well looked after by OH too! He even washed my hair for me :)

Euro - hope you don't mind me sharing this x

Of course not! Thank you! Typing with one hand was so tiring and frustrating, I could only be bothered with FB and Twitter as I could access them easier from my phone.

Thanks for the love ladies xx

    Congratulations LittleMoog! :D

No idea what's going on here. Therapist told me to bring it up with OH again, and simply say that I will have my IUD out at the end of this year, and it's up to him if he then wants to stick around.

Can't see that going down well.
