    Hi All,
I don't know if any of you remember me, but I was on this board for quite a while, we were waiting until our Honeymoon to New Zealand before TTC.
Well, I went a bit quiet because I discovered in the middle of September that I was pregnant (oops!) and yesterday had the 12 week scan and discovered we have twins in there!
I don't want to upset anyone, but I wanted you to know because you have been the friendliest bunch on here and I'm still a bit too shell shocked to tell people in my "real" life!

Congratulations! I don't think anyone on the thread would be upset by this news!

  • The more astute of you may have noticed that my date has changed again. I kinda knew deep down that DH would get cold feet.

I don't know why you stand for any of that hun. My hubby kept changing it around. He then set a date and I made him stick to it even though he wanted to push it out later. They will always want to push it later even when it comes round til the real time. I wouldn't stand for any of this being messed around business. I would go back and say right you said we could change from March to X and that is what we are sticking to. As the time will never be right ...
  • I can't keep arguing with him. If I have it taken out in December, I wouldn't put it past DH to refuse to BD until March. I have told him that if it doesn't come out in March, it'll never get taken out and he won't have children. Let's hope I don't have to call his bluff.

So no, I'm not happy about it. Yes, DH has since said "if it'll shut you up, have it out in December" but that's not exactly a good start to TTC - "if it shuts you up". It doesn't help that my best friend is pregnant. It doesn't help that two cousins are pregnant. It doesn't help that every time I see my brother's OH, she gets me to hold the baby and asks when we're thinking of having one. It doesn't help that my mum keeps asking if we want a cot for christmas. If those things weren't going on in the background, I might not feel so devatated at having the rug pulled from under me but I really don't have any fight left in me.

    Sorry for the rant!

  • Hugs COMP, that's all very rubbish :-(

Does he give any good reasons?
  • Nope. No reasons.

I think I'll go back to lurking for a bit......

wow Magicboo, what a lovely surprise! Congratulations, and best wishes for the next 6 months!

COMP, I'm sending evil vibes to your OH, I wish he'd stop messing you around :( Hope you manage to come to an agreement that suits you both soon :o

Not much to report here, CD4 and AF seems to be lightening up. My FF chart looks pretty weird, I think it's because I'm not temping (yet, may start in January if I can't work out ov myself in the next few cycles) and have only entered 2 cycles. It obviously can't work out what's going on with my cycle, so it has predicted ovulation every day from CD20-30, and then predicted menses every day from CD31 to CD50!:rotfl:
I think I had EWCM at CD20, and cycle lasted 31 days, so I'd guess I ovulated around then, and had an 11 day LP, which isn't too bad for second cycle off pill.
