Congrats COMP on bringing the date forward and good luck with your job prospects.
I am feeling a lot better today, we have decided to get married anytime from July-Sept next year, we are going to wait for a special offer deal
I will have to keep myself entertained till then with wedding prep and sorting finances/stuff around the house.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend, looking forward to a glass or two (hehe!!)0 -
Morning Ladies!
Did you all have lovely weekends?
Mine was fairly quiet and uneventful, but we did make chocolate cake last night! Nom, nom, nom, nom.
Boobs finally started to become sore yesterday afternoon/evening, and I had a little bit of cramping then too, but that's all. On CD31 here, but am not feeling at all grumpy or like AF is coming. Not really sure what to think. Whether there's a chance I'm pregnant, or if I ov'd way later than usual.
I know the pill gave me migraines, but it was a lot easier to understand!!!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Morning Euro
If you think there's even a tiny chance that you're pg with a coil in place, get a test asap please. This happened to my sister over the summer and it ended up as an ectopic pg, emergency surgery etc, but they can treat with drugs if they catch it early enough.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

I know, but this isn't the first time I've felt like this, and then it turned out it was nothing.
My longest cycle, so far, was 32 days. So I was thinking of waiting until Wednesday, as it is still very likely that it will show up before then (despite the absence of symtoms).
But then, like you say, if there is a chance I should definitely find out sooner rather than later.
Oh bl00dy hell! This IUD was supposed to be simplistic and straightforward, and yet I find myself worrying every 2-3 months!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Today I hate being female. I spent much of yesterday being sick and today I feel like I'm bleeding to death! At least with the pill my 'cycles' were predictable and I was fairly light. This AF has arrived only two weeks after the previous one left and BOY is she on a mission!!!

((HUGS)) Sometimes it sucks to be female!
I hope it eases off soon COMP. Is this the effect of the implant? Have you decided when you will have it removed? (I know your OH said he doesn't want to know when it's been done)
Fingers crossed things will improve after that.

Cadbury's is not very WW friendly
The implant makes your cycle erratic. Some people don't get AF, some get it almost constantly. This at the moment is sheer hell. My body doesn't cope well with 'blood loss' anyway - I faint after nosebleeds! :rotfl:
I'm waiting until I've heard from my interview that I had last week. If it's a yay, I might put it off slightly. I'd hate to start a new job and get pregnant straight away. I doubt it'd make me very popular! If it's a no, I'll have the implant out some point in December.
Only other thing putting me off is that (bizarrely) my cousins always have babies in threes. Two of my cousins are pregnant and bets are being placed on me being the third. When it is our turn, I want to be unique! I don't want to follow the trend!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

Oh yes, OK then, banana's! Good for you and a nice energy boost (plus I think they are very yummy!).
Oh, and good luck with the job. Fingers crossed for you. I understand about wanting to postpone TTC for a while if you get it. I wouldn't want to fall pregnant that quickly after starting a new job either!
Try not to focus on the cousins thing. When it does happen for you, it will be unique to you and your OH, no matter who else happens to be pregnant at that time.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Sorry you're feeling icky COMP, the implant sounds like a nightmare
Hopefully once you have it removed your cycles will settle down a bit.
I know what you mean about work etc, I'm torn between starting to TTC in January, and waiting until my promotion looks likely to go through. My boss thinks I nearly meet a lot of the criteria, (we have to make our role the next WL up and then prove it before we can get a promotion), so I'm hopeful it will happen at some point next year.
When I get pg, due to the nature of my work I'd have to tell my boss right away as I'd need to come out of the lab (radiochemicals and teratogens )and then I don't think she'd be keen to push for me to get promoted.

I've been waiting for the last year for my promotion, which is why I'm now looking elsewhere!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0
