I'm jealous of my brother as they have a six year old and a 5 month old. I'm jealous of one of my friends as they're trying. I'm jealous of the whole TTC thread too!
DH reminded me of one of my little 'peculiarities' last night. We were discussing pregnancy etc and he reminded me that I get freaked out by baby bumps. I just can't look at them... I'm REALLY hoping that if we get to that stage I can get over it otherwise I'm in for a hell of a 9 months! :rotfl:
Thanks COMP.
Loving your peculiarity - it is indeed quite peculiar.
Right! I need to use this "waiting" period positively. My plan of attack:- Actually take my tablets and vitamins (I don't ovulate and the Metformin that I've been prescribed "might" help with that).
- Continue to track my cycles (although I don't think I'm going to bother temping).
- Lose some weight (I am a big fat heffer
and hopefully losing some weight will kick start ovulation).
- Buy a house (this is one of those things that we're in the process of doing already but it's an exciting and fun thing to add to the list lol).
- Stop being jealous :rotfl:

I only get freaked out if I can see the skin / belly button. A clothed bump is fine.
Ok, Ok! I accept it's weird!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Just jumping in to agree with that aversion COMP! I was nearly sick when Rachel's (fake!!) bump in friends was on show... no idea how I'm going to manage to look at myself when I've got a ruddy great big bump actually attached to me! _pale_Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Welcome!
As far as I can tell, it's very normal!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
COMP - agree with the others. You looked amazing in your wedding photos and nowhere near obese.
Welcome to the newbies - Fannyanna sorry you've had to join us.
Well....looks like I might be back on track for starting the TTC game next spring after all. Had the results of my biopsy today and all clear. They want me back again in six months for another check up but I can handle that - means I get to go shopping!
Will be staying away from my books tonight and instead having a lovely chilled out evening with OH - will be the first time we can properly relax in quite a while. Have a Bank Holiday tomorrow so will hit the books again then....
poolygal - right there with you! Know the timing won't get much better than this but scares the bejeezus out of me!
codemonkey - my parents don't seem to fussed (but then my brothers have only just left home) so don't do the awkward baby questions. Instead, my grandad quizzes me over our plans! Not a conversation I ever want to have again....."No society can surely be flourishing and happy of which by far the greater part of the numbers are poor and miserable"Adam Smith6/300 -
The less I say about my mum's latest comments the better. Even my dad commented that she was being a little strange last night!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

Sounds like we've just been down similar paths. Like you I'm good to go following treatment and have a check up in 6 months.
Congrats on your results0 -

Ok - a wee bit odd here.
We're using natural family planning cause I can't take hormonal stuff and hate my diaphragm and I screwed up this month. Anyway, been feeling sick, dizzy, lady lumps hurting and so on, so I started to wonder if I could be (and, I have to say hope a little bit as at least it'd put an end to all the waiting and would mean I was functioning normally at least).
I just went to the loo and AF has arrived 5 days early. I feel really sad and relieved all at the same time.
Is this normal???Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
