They are all fine, dad has made an amazing recovery, but still goes to physio 3 times a week (he's retired so has time):p

Has anyone seen those fertility tests you can get? I've just seen them on Amazon and as I'm 34, I was wondering if it would be a good thing or a bad thing to use it..!
Hope everyone is happy & healthy x

Yes, a lot of the women use the ovulation predictor kits on the TTC thread.

I believe they can be very helpful if you are unsure of when you ovulate, or even if you are ovulating. :)

Never bothered with them (OV kits) - I'm of the opinion that a more relaxed approach works for me.

Have never tracked cycles, and I fortunately fell pregnant first month twice.

I'd recommend not getting too hung up about it and take it as it comes, average is about 6 months they reckon anyway

I don't mean the OPK's, I mean these..they claim to tell you if you're fertile or not! Although of course they don't guarentee to get it right!! Think I might leave off them for a while yet-at least until we're actually trying anyway!

Although they look interesting, I think it's probably a case of "a little information is a dangerous thing"...?

We got any more budding graduates to come join us on the "big" thread yet?

Are you guys all ok? You've all been awfully quiet! I can't stalk you if you're not saying owt! :rotfl:

Morning all :) still nowt to report from me, but I had a comedy dream last night that I have to share.
I dreamt that I was heavily pregnant, but so was everyone else that I know (including the men) and they were all telling me off for doing things wrong. Then I went into labour in a pond and gave birth to a giant frog, and DH said it was all my fault for eating French food while pregnant :rotfl:

I woke up and had to put the light on to make sure I wasn't pregnant, it was such a vivid dream. Told DH about it this morning, and he just looked at me like I was a mental person. :o

  • I've had a little tidy up of the first page.

I've been a little quiet of late as I've been preparing for job interviews etc. Also had a nice evening in with my friend (who I mentioned earlier was turning TTC into a race) and she told me that she and her DH are currently NTNP. Really happy for her.

  • Hi ladies

I took a pregnancy test yesterday. Just had this TINY feeling that I could be even though we haven't started trying yet, due to a slip-up last month. I am still on the pill until the end of this month. I actually felt a little worried about being pregnant as my doc told me that the pill im on can cause black teeth in babies when they become adults. Anyway I'm not. Which is good really... I think.

We've decided to start TTC from mid Jan 2012 - 129 days to go according to my OH's phone app haha! :) He's so excited. I let my best friend know we're going to be TTC, because Im bridesmaid at her wedding in June so *could* be 5 months pregnant by then. Luckily its quite a floaty dress. She didn't say much so I hope its not annoyed her . Can't put off baby plans just cos I might look fat in one photo though. Actually I also have a second wedding at the end of July and am quite likely to see my ex then. *shudder*
